Guild Wars 2

I’ve played on a couple servers and have faced a ton and have learned their strengths and weaknesses. Can you guys describe the top 3 tier servers? Ex: “hellokitty server” very resilient. has good offense but leaves players on defense at held points. lack of players during said hours.

With that said, I might be looking for a server to transfer to for me and my close friends and yes I am aware of the gems to transfer payment. With the upcoming WvW updates in a couple months, I think we might become a bit more active (also since summer is coming up!) so I want to see which servers fit our playstyle perfectly. We are a small group that love to accomplish goals without being part of a zerg. A good group for us might be a roaming guild that not only searches for player kills but also try to achieve what a normal zerg would do like take over garrison with maybe 10+ people or something.
We would love a home of a wvw dedicated server (bonus if one has an established community voip). I’ve already been in a couple huge guilds but we want to stand out instead of be a part of something big. We also tried making our own guild but it was a bit too small (10~ players).

Okay let me try. The top 3 servers in wvw “have a lot of people on all the time.” Okay there ya go!

Yeah I know the population is huge. Maybe I’m scouting for a good small, friendly guild within those servers that love to travel in small organized groups and try to achieve big goals. We are in a big guild right now and I feel that we don’t connect as well with the players since there are too many.

I think normally I’d say what you are looking for is a t3 server or below. The meta for 1 and 2 is large groups, organized Zerg balls, and opportunistic point grabbing. The problem though, is the ratings are all mixed up, so picking any server will bring mixed results.

you’re looking at fergs or ET it’s ALL roaming…and we both have super small populations – honestly feels like a larger version of spvp half the time with all the open field fights

if you’re coordinated you can easily take a keep or tower with 10 or less people and wiping out large numbers of SF (sadly they won’t be with us next week to swarm us) is a fantastic way to pass your time

whichever server/ guild you guys choose it’s important you get a feel for the community so come guest on one of the servers and talk to some people about it, or you can msg me (yes I fight against the ferguson server but that doesn’t stop me from putting in a good word for them as well)
