We start off with a tight night, Elona really strong as every weekend… Will they keep up the pace? will Deso beat VZ? I doubt it in both cases.

We had a huge 3-way fight in Deso BL Garri really nice (if it wasnt for skill lag), happens every reset in T1, nice to not loose the good traditions ^^

Lets not flame to much, see you on the battlefields!

FOR SCIENCE – The JP Experiment
Everyone cries about the EB JP being camped etc. so I started to do a test tonight.
1. Well geared Guardian: A lot of enemy in the JP, most just /wave and let me pass. I did 3 runs because on the first one I wasn’t even attacked.
Result: I got attacked 5 times and died only 1 time. Many enemies were going out of my way or waited till I passed. (I didn’t show any signs of aggression)

2. A ~lvl20 Thief (nacked because I don’t have the coin for so many repairs):
EVERYONE attacks you! Ppl that backed up before, now attack on sight because you are no harm. I even made a list which server killed me:

• Vizu: 58
• Deso: 15

Greetings and Congratulations go out to the Mesmer from [Pulp], killing me about 7 times from the top of the arena and the two guys from [WsA] and [oO] killing me a crazy 21 times. Awesome burst and have fun with the bags.

Vizunah is not only the Champion of WvW but also the Champion of JP.
I will do this runs a few more times over the next weeks and see what happens.
And always remember kids: We don’t do this for fun, we do this for science!

Phew, its a good thing you are on Elona’s got enough silly people taking up the precious and limited WvWvW slots at the moment.

Kudos to Desolation for one of the most entertaining reset events ive had, last night. Big shout out to all the people that got on TS and Moorta for persistently commanding EB!

Shout out to our asian shift too, was fun running around sweeping vizunah attacks down again and again.

I love that most of the players of Visunah Square and Elona Reach are running glass cannons. They hit hard, but even a strong fart can kill them. Almost 150 kills in 2 hours today. Only 3 deaths for me. And I am not even fully geared up and I wasn’t in any team. And I don’t play cheap builds

Today it seems that VS and ER were both attacking Deso two hours in a row, without attacking each other. From our view point it seems VR and ER are teaming up against Desolation. Congrats for ER finally getting the Stonemist castle.

I agree that Moorta is doing a great job and deserves a credit for that. Desolation is sometimes without any commanders on the map. We need more active commanders. Not too many, because I wouldn’t also like to see the map full of commanders.

If Desolation can now pull the effort together during the week as well, we can dominate tier #1.

Good players are welcome to join Desolation server. We have very active pve, so getting into dungeons or doing group events at Orr won’t be a problem. Forget the rumors of tier #1 being more difficult. Getting experience, kills and treasure in WvWvW has never been this easy. You just attack any enemy and they drop like babies, sometimes giving rare or exotic loot.

Had a lot of fun on Deso borderlands last night. Thanks to the Deso Guilds ( kaz, fg and dsd if i’m not wrong) for that. Some tough fights but i think overall it was pretty even. The only annoying thing were the huge laggs. Especially at the beginning when we attacked the garrison i couldn’t use any skills. At least there were no culling

First of all…was an awesome night on VZ borderlands, too. Ran some nice 3 zerg tactics which worked out pretty well. Only “oh kitten” moment was when at like 3.30am we got outmanned buff, VZ got ALL the supp camps and even went so far to take all the supps from their castles. After 10 minutes they had used like 2k supplies and we were ready to switch borderlands =P
Turned out they needed them for EB, tho…
Meanwhile on ER homelands ppl jumped off cliffs to get daily healer.

Regarding the glass zergs…ppl are encouraged to go a bit more tanky in ts and stuff but i guess in the end most just want to see some big numbers. VZ on the other hand are just lvling twinks. Crushed a whole zerg, nearly all of them had that cute green arrow…on reset day. Guess they´re just messing with us again -.-

i know this will change when weekdays start and VS will do thier routine, but for now its quite fun.

He’s the most entertaining, that’s for sure. He certainly does love Klovan! Last night showed how much of a difference it makes when us pugs get on teamspeak. You don’t need a mic, just listen in.

Another amusing thing on EB last night was when ER essentially walked into Vizunah’s keep, putting Viz on the backfoot from the start. It was a bit disappointing that they didn’t continue pushing them off the map though.

Haha I would have to agree with Salluks on this one. Lets not forget he is ably supported by the regulars of EB, nice to see so many of these on teamspeak these days. Might have something to do with Moorta finally getting a mic though.

Gotta say this morning was the earliest i’ve gotten up in over two years, however it was also the most fun i’ve had in WvW in a long time. Had a great 8 v VZombie zerg fight at briar (VZ border) at around 6am GMT to kick off the day and it was all fun fun fun from there in!

All the fights so far in Garrison (again VZ border) have been great today and we still hold it despite it having no outer walls or doors. Keep it up VZombies it’s really nice to see you out in the field for a change!

i was leading VZ forces during this fight that last something like 3 hours inside Garnison, and i have to say the way you kept it was amazing. There was no way i could get my raid inside. I decided to break every single wall and door, to come back again and again and again, thinking you couldn’t handle such a huge arrassement, but you definitely rocked and found solutions to whatever i was trying to do.

So Congratz for this fight, especially IRON who did an amazing job, i hope we can have more like this one. I don’t care we won or lost this specific battle, to me it was pretty much the most epic fight since the start of the game.

You guys did an amazing job at Garrison, but I must also say that Deso people who were defending Garrison did an awesome job aswell. Hope we can have more battles like that.

Oh, ok.

Don’t worry the arrogance of most desolation members increases exponentially every rank they increase.

Most of deso w3 players have at least couple champion titles and rank40. That’s why their quality is so much higher than viz players.

What’s happening to Viz this weekend? They used to have a strong start, but they not only are underperforming, but also they seem to be way less then they used to.

The tend to have weeks like this. I guess they just decided this week to have a “less hardcore” week as it is impossible for them to drop to T2.
Still early days though.

I dont think they will drop to tier 2, even if they came 3rd, unless the winner of tier 2 gets a massive score, which looks like a close match atm.

I think Viz will start racking up the points through the week days.

Jep he is reported in fact just to be sure I got the right one I reported everyone I was able to target inside the tower Anet should be able to figure out who the cheating person was… And ofcourse I won’t give you his nickname… The cheater has some privacy on that part.

This is one of the most frustrating things in gw2 at this time. Being hit by an arrow carts in places said arrow carts should not be able to hit reduces our tactical options enormously.

I respect Viz alot but sadly they are the worst culprits for doing the above. Stopping attacks dead on numerous occasion in keeps and on towers.

I am certainly not accusing the whole server, but I notice my cata’s dying to unseen arrow carts far more against viz than any other server. When this happens on a daily basis when trying to assault places yes it gets frustrating.

When this happens on every single tower and keep you try to attack, whole “its randoms, not server” argument crumbles. If it is few people, how come they are always the ones who get to use arrow cart from all the people behind the walls? And no, its not all the servers, from past 4 weeks I have seen only one server using this from all the servers we faced, guess which one was that.
Then you add all other shady stuff, like building trebs in invulnerability zone at spawn, which happened every day since friday reset, ressing keep lords with warrior banners, using consumables like Gear and basicaly playing on the “edge” of fair all the time and you cant be surprised Vizunah is THE most annoying server to play against, whether they are winning or not.

Can somebody explain me what the exact description of the warrior banner is so I understand why this is shady?
I recorded that fight where that happened 3 times on my screen (i looked and counted), and some resses off-screen, and as long as it’s not a bugged ability, I don’t see why it’s called shady.

Though that didn’t make it less annoying, dear god! :p

I also don’t see the problem with running consumables at all times, though I don’t do it myself, that’s because I’m lazy and nobody is making me do it, that doesn’t mean that other people using them isn’t fair.

Basically, people are too quick to call “unfair! cheat! omg!”. I reluctantly agreed someting was wrong with those resses until i watched the vid (which i still forwarded to somebody else as requested). Nothing is stopping you from doing the same.

While of course, exploits are bad, and hacks are even worse, and I strongly discourage anyone from either of those and would never do that myself either, I see no problem with smart usage of abilities and making sure you have an edge over the opponent, whether it’s by teamwork or consumables.

What a epic reset we were on Deso border….finally Viz was fighting on the open field. Amazing coordination from Desolation (Kaz,DsD,FG)when we took Hills after a good def from Viz, you gave it your all. Elona lol i dont know what happend but you were with freaking many(60+)….more then Viz 40+ but i saw you fight us alot more then viz but i could be me that is seeing things;) still thank you for the badges
We got Deso border locked and it was a good weekend for Deso Friday/Saturday.
Thanks to KAZ en DsD en ofcourse all other deso players for making it happen.

Viz en Elona keep it up i love the big fights on the open fields.

Most of Elona (me as well) are thinking that Vizunah is just slacking, because it is just impossible to drop to t2 in one single week. so we expect Vizunah is just taking a break and will faceroll next matchup again

People are behaving like kitten and somebody screamed at Troma for something he wasn’t even there for, holding him responsible for the server’s failing on reset night.

There was also a huge problem in map chat one night, where a GC commander got insulted for 2 hours and it was impossible to do any type of talking in mapchat because it got drowned out by everybody and their dog throwing a fit.

Or about as far as I can tell.
Seems a lot of inserver politics and people/guilds I don’t really know anything about.

you heard bad thing or you have to change spy Vizunah can’t stay on top place everyweek without sleeping on theirself , we just have a bad time , not the first one , we will clear it and go on.

Plus the next fact: deutch seems to have holydays isn’t it ? so we have hard time as always they have it cause now they are too much and deso is just waiting it for break our kitten img src="/include/images/smilies/colondee.png" /> WvWvW is always hard with deutch guys on holidays :p

Elona have been excellent this week I thought you were dreadful last week, open field fighting, defending, attacking bases has been superb, good fights.

VS some brilliant open field fights with you guys, you see VS you can fight when you want, you dont have to hide (joke)

Game breaking lags again tonight on Deso BL. Had a few cool small scale zerg fights during the day but prime time is unplayable.

Yes, with all three servers massing in your fortress is was quite unplayable.
