Guild Wars 2

Apex are looking to form up a new WvW coalition/Alliance. We’re aiming to focus our attention firstly to the control and defense of our own borderlands. Understandably we’re not the first or potentially the last to make this attempt.
Our aim is to help bring Desolation back up to where it should be, the top! Our server has the potential to defeat almost any other server (thats based in one timezone…), but thus far we seem to lack the co-ordination required to take and more importantly hold the map against a more organised force.

We understand that WvW is not won on one map alone, but we have to make a start somewhere, if we can capture and maintain our own borderlands there is nothing stopping it happening elsewhere too. Please understand that for now this will likely be an alliance for the sole purpose of control on our borderlands. As previously stated there will be other alliances on this server and we have no intention of trying to rival or compete with them, we’re all one server after all. Co-ordination is key, both within our newly forming alliance and with the current alliances already fighting across the borderlands and EB.

Any and all guilds are welcome to be part of this alliance, size is not an issue if u can field 20+ members thats great but if u can only field 3 ppl regularly, thats 3 more ppl working as part of a whole to achieve the goals of the alliance. The only thing we ask is for ppl to be active in WvW and have a like minded attitude.

Each guild who becomes part of this alliance will of course remain their own guild, we intend to co-ordinate between nominated ‘commaders’(nominated from within your own guilds) from each guild and then for said ‘commanders’ to complete asigned/requested tasks with their guilds group, reinforcement and reassignment will also be handled in the same way. Tasks will be decided between commanders as to who will take what and any given time, no one guild will be singled out to always complete the same task. Some task with also be carried out by multiple guilds dependant on size, not all tasks are likely to be the most fun and exciting, hense the reason to rotate them though the alliance, but if u want to win its not always about zerging keeps all the time.

Hey man! Just last night DBG and DLC were thinking of making an alliance, there are some issues we need to work out. Glad to see people on Desolation trying to organize. Could you explain more about the alliance like WvW wise?

Sorry if anythings unclear, I did try to be as clear as I could without being too wordy, as you can see was a slight fail. Could you be more specific about what your unsure about?

The structure and chain of command for example, and how we’d communicate with each other. That would help

Ah I see, apologies. We have set up a VoIP server separately for Commanders to use alongside their own guild VoIP. Communication can then be easily maintained between commanders and communication to their guild isn’t disrupted.
