You really think that’s appropriate? I mean you guys can play wherever whenever but flying your arenanet tag, what’s up with that?

I think it would add some excitement to the game seeing the devs playing!

The issue isn’t them playing there, it’s playing with their Arenanet tag on in WvW.

And what exactly is the problem with that?

They have been on our server a couple of times. Be glad they are coming to SBI and not your server. Every time they come on the “militia” just starts following them around no matter what is going on strategy wise on the map. Which usually ends up turning into a disaster for us….:oP

Don’t worry: you won’t see Anet developers playing on servers that don’t have an Orb.

They will never know unless they experience it first hand, any good dev knows this.

i’ve seen a few in lions arch and the mists during my time on Sbi, never in WvW though.

I think it is likely a good idea to identify themselves, keeps the conspiracy theorists at bay.
