The very same system that keep Blackgate from going back to T1, even though SoR and IoJ can’t stand it…

they seriously need to consider manually editing some of the matchups for next week

@ Kard considering what I have been up against in the past, no size zerg really bothers me. What they will be facing that they are not used to is 2 seperate servers with strong Wv3 regulars that for all intents and purposes will never give up and much closer population numbers. Only time will tell how they fare as they move up. I hope they do well and bring their very best, honestly I do, but as a whole this will be DR’s first real test vs larger organized servers.

even if they dont make it to t6 in the next matchup they will be there in the one after that. and its unlikely that NSp or AR will move into a different tier in that time unless darkhaven does really bad in next weeks matchup.

That would be even more ironic, as AR thinks they can stomp on Devona’s face.

Well, it’s true that it is mathematically possible that GoM can take second, and in reality first while holding 695 for the next 24 hours. I don’t think it would drop ARs ranking to T7 by the current score.
@Jeknar where are you getting your information from? Have you spoken to someone in AR that has given you this impression? Never underestimate any opponent, or you will lose the battle before it ever begins.

DR will get a chance to leap frog T6 if they stay in T7 and pull another 200 point gain.

If GoM gets 2nd place, it just means both AR and GoM stay in T6.

I’m sure all AR commanders know that our fight with DR won’t be easy. Like I said previously, they will be a big challenge!

P.S : GoM seems to be doing better as the match up goes on. Yesterday evening, they really pushed hard in WvW. Previously in other match up, it also happened that GoM did a come back late in the match up.

If they could do it all match up, we would be in trouble!

I correct you. No where in that quote Dovgan says We will stomp Devona’s.

Devona’s last match up have been again 2 dropping server (SF I’m realy surprised, not sure what happened to them).

It’s really hard to evaluate servr in Tier7-8 right now, because many of those have been in a free fall (HoD, ET and now SF).

It will be a harder challenge for DR, and they will be able to test their tactics again “healthy” server.

Ok, fair enough, I will be happy to correct you. DR has a higher population than the T7 and T8 servers. I don’t think anyone in those tiers would disagree. The population and coverage increases as you ascend tiers, as I’m sure servers that move up the ladder would attest to. Saying that this would be a more adequate test for the new and improved DR is hardly inaccurate, and at no point states in any way stomping another server. However I have come to the conclusion you are trolling for responses and not actually reading the text in the above posts.

Ok, I’m sorry. I’m problably mistaking you for some of the SoR guys who pretty much think/say they can stomp anyone when they actually can’t even win a match.

Anyway, i’ll be cheering for Devona’s on that (No against you AR guys) because i like to see a server that used to be labeled as weak (for being down on T8 all this time) gain ground as they are gaining…

No harm. I try to maintain a certain level of humility, but it is true that it isn’t the norm on most of the forum posts we see. I’m just here to have fun.

DR is really looking forward to this matchup, be it this week or next. For those of us who really weren’t paying attention to T7 prior to this past week, its the matchup we hoped we’d have when we moved to T7. I really hope our week “off” hasn’t made our WvWers overly confident. I think most of us know that we’ll be facing large pop and good organization for the first time. Both Kaineng and Fergusons Crossing challenged us in T8 and we were only able to overwhelm them with numbers.

Personally, I think we’ll take a bit of a beating the first week in T6 and hopefully we can learn and improve from the experience and come back to challenge later on. GL and HF to all!

Have faith in your teammates and trust your commanders and it will be fun times DR resident! Regardless of win/lose. After all, that’s why people Wv3 isn’t it?

Considering GoM is doing good last 2 days and Devona still holding %100 map I don’t think Devona will move this week. (Sorry SF and HoD). So question comes to next week Devona will have a better rating for going T7 which will probably be close to NSP’s rating meaning that lowest rating of T7 will go down and which can be either GoM or Anvil Rock. So what I suggest Anvril Rock to not to risk things and do their best in last 2 days to destroy GoM.

Thats ok we aren’t scared. Besides if it was you that informed this commander of these things, you have been gone long enough to not know what our tactics and strategies are. But thanks anyway for letting them know, whether it be true or false information I think we are all happy to see a challenge in the next tier.

ZOMGS we’ve got new tactics…..we’ll see when you get into T6…tho I’m fairly certain you’ll probably stop at T6 with your current pop, maybe T5, but doubtful unless you get mass transfers again.

I’m looking forward to next week no matter what our opponent is. Having only joined in on WvW a few weeks before we began our current win streak, I know what the bad times looked like and I see a striking difference to the way we are today. Our commanders are a trustworthy bunch and do a great job marshaling the PUGs.

Even this week, I’ve come across some excellent opponents on both HoD and SF and I respect them for going out there. It’s not easy when the score is lopsided against you and you come across our larger roaming groups on a regular basis. I still look back to last Friday and the enormous battle we had before the patch update. THAT was some fun! I for one was hoping that would be our week…pitched battles and SM switching every few minutes…

As for server population, I have noticed the last few days that the regulars are taking a break and there are quite a few PVE’ers finding their way out into the battleground. The new blood, organic growth, is exciting. I hope the trend continues.

Good luck to the teams we face next week. I’ll be there, enjoying every minute of it – win or lose.

Why did you leave DR btw? Atleast most of us earned our way up tiers. Most all in my guild were there at the bottom of the barrel. We didn’t just transfer up a few tiers and come back to forums to politely insult our former server. /snicker all you want and believe all you want, I know most of us earned to move up, we didn’t take the easy road out. Khanswrath solos towers using flame rams on walls (come.get.some). Had tons of videos to link but wife deleted em all (left laptop in the kitchen). So ballin I rezzed a commander of a guild I was kicked out of last night in SFBL, TWICE (silly 100% rep requirement). No one can stop the ball of Zerg DR is about to unleash on every server above us (coming for you Blackgate). Envy and NoQQ (just name droppin now). Hope I made someone chuckle (forums can get to serious). Tiers don’t matter as long as the matches are competitive (lying now it’s all about being #1).

You know why I left DR and left GASM, but since you want to keep bringing it up I’ll make it perfectly clear for you. I left GASM because GASM’s GL allowed the use of exploits against its enemies in EB using the terrain exploit that allowed for the destruction of siege equipment without being able to be affected by others trying to kill said player. Since said player was a RL friend of the GL, said exploit was allowed. Even if the problem was originally dealt with at the time, YOU were one of the 50% of said guild to say ‘Give the guy a slap on the wrist and let’s move on’. Yes that’s right, YOU were okay with the use of the exploit and 50% of the rest of the guild. Several others also were not okay with that and left GASM, just some didn’t have the meddle to stay removed and quickly rejoined for fear of being lonely I suppose.

So, at the time there were 8 of us, maybe 10, and we all decided with the amount of exploits that a server with barely a WvW presence in use had to use to win, that we all (8-10 of us) leave the server. With DR throwing matches (working the numbers against rating increases) that solidified our reason for leaving the server. Unfortunately we ran into a tool alliance on Anvil Rock that didn’t “get it”. They apparently do now, but not really our problem. We left 50% of our guild behind on AR and moved up to Maguuma where we’ve found semblance in the WvW population. We like it here on Maguuma and we won’t be moving again.

Honestly I hope DR makes it to T4, but like other servers that have a sudden population growth and zerging your way through Tiers against servers with quite a bit less population in WvW as you, eventually you’re going to run into servers with population and your chest thumping will come to a dull pounding with screams of “they must have had transfers” and “we’re outnumbered” again coming from the denizens of DR.

Sadly the state of WvW is….population = rating and rating = your ability to move up. When you hit your population equal which I predict will be maybe high T6, that’s where you’ll be for some time until more people move into DR.

And for the record, I left DR when it was winning….so the leaving due to losing argument can’t be used here.

Wow, no i didn’t know why you left. I always followed you, always did what you ordered. And I only asked why you left. I did not know. But wtf, you bring up an internal issue that was resolved over 7 weeks ago, to stab me? Dude, only asked why you bragged about spying to other upcoming server.
