I was writing a really long, informative post about.. blah blah come join our server, no queues, co-ordinate with us in WvW, hurray!
But I’d rather you came to the server to check it out yourself.
My name is Blankspace. I don’t do politics. I don’t deal with drama. We kickkitten I help lead the server to glory (not being an elitest in saying this) by spending the time teaching our pugs and newer players how to take towers, how to upgrade effectively, and which tactics to use in certain situations.
If you want to come to a server where you are actually a part of the people who help win the map and WvW (Like Condemned in TA, FoE in AA, or some of the huge community servers out there… Beastgate… Jade….) then we want you.
We are working on a Server WvW Alliance and we have a server WvW Teamspeak where ANYONE can come co-ordinate with us for WvW efforts!

I have to say that rolling with this Alliance has been a great gaming experience and the community is being ran by some good peeps. I highly encourage anyone to join our
community and see for yourselves.
PvE has finally rebounded that a small amount of people have finally populated the server… We are sitting at like 1/20 of what other servers have for population (not even crying about Oceanic timezone) and you can feel it from time to time.

my guild has moved to denova’s rest, and yeah, cursed shore was sort of empty at first, but now i have no trouble doing events. i did the entire chain the other night, for instance.
people should definitely join this server. it’s a small budding community and it’s fun to be in on the ground floor of its development.

While our guild just transferred to Northern Shiverpeaks and likely won’t be transferring again any time soon, all the best to you! The more populated you are, the better the battles we’ll be able to have in WvW. I don’t think the current state of affairs is satisfactory for anyone.
On a side note (and not aimed at the OP), please, please let’s all take a moment to read Devona carefully, and remember the spelling. The V comes before the N.
I just recently moved to DR to meet up with a nice group from DAoC. Upon my adventures I discovered another friendly guild I know had also moved to DR to help with the population issues. So numbers are trickling in. but we need more.
Devona’s Rest’s population is low and it shows when you look at the map. What also shows is that the few numbers we have; they fight hard. We are able to stand up to the overwhelming zerg forces we are pitted against this week, we just lack the numbers to spread ourselves out enough to kick theirkitten all over the map.
The tactics are out there and ever present. I constantly see small pockets of players out trying to help thin out the zerg by capping resources and attempting to pull some attention off of our intended server target. There is constant chatter in /map sharing information and communicating.
Not everyone likes a good fight, and on Devona’s rest we have no choice. We need to work at every cap with cooperation, coordination, and team work. I would consider our efforts to be successful.
My only question is: Wouldn’t some of you like to be on a team that needs to work for it’s win and enjoy that victory having actually helped make it happen?
I hope to see you on DR, in the borderlands, and skull smashing with us.

answering questions in /map chat or helping each other with quests/events in PvE or
working together towards a common goal as we succeed in WvW.

My guild just moved over to DR and while its a huge uphill battle, it can also be incredibly fun at times. People seem eager and willing we just need more people to join the cause. Hope to see more guilds head our way!

We need members pretty badly actually. Not only for WvW, but for PvE as well. PTX has been working hard to cultivate the community. Whether you’re NA or Oceanic we could really use some guilds that are willing to help build a server from the ground up!
