Gandara server is having issues with people disconnecting when waypointing to keep or getting close to some towers or camps. For me personally it is happening in GBL and EBG. Been happening for about 24 hours and a number of us have reported this bug via the game. Haven’t seen any threads about it here so I thought I would post. Any GMs wanna chime in and tell us what is going on? Kind of making it hard to play.

I’m from RoS server, in our matchup with GH and DZ, we’ve got a lot of crashes on all sides. Atm, nobody can almost enter DZ-boderland, we can’t use our own WP in bay at RoS border without crashin, and everytime we get close to Klovan Tower we also crash, also sometimes when using WP in OVerlook keep.

Any idea why all of us are getting this crashes? It started last night, and have continued all the time untill now

Plzzz keep us updated and plz dont close this thread, as I think it’s important to enlighten you about this case, as it’s a gamebreaking case for WvW players.

We also suffer this on Gandara, WP’s wont work on our Borderlands :x

Yeah, it’s a bit of a nuisance that you have to avoid your own garrison or crash :P

Just to confirm: Gandaran players are experiencing disconnecting and/or crashing whenever they waypoint to Garrison on Gandara Borderlands.

Whenever I walk into GG or waypoint there, at least for me, I immediately crash and receive an error report.

Same on Whiteside Ridge, I feel you bro

Same issue on Jade Quarry BL in NA Tier 1

I didn’t suffer this in WvW (Whiteside Ridge as well) but I had it every 10 minutes when I was doing some world completion in Orr earlier; thought I had a corrupted client so did a rebuild and it seemed ok after doing that – start the client with the “- rebuild” command line switch. Could be complete coincidence of course.

Out of curiosity .. are all these maps the red ones?

Cos a week or two back we (and a couple other servers) had issues like this, but only on the red maps. It eventually got fixed, but took almost a week.

Same on WSR-AS-RoF matchup, crashes on borderlands, different keeps (or area’s surrounding them)…

Double post, it seems to be when keeps are uncontested, we cant get near them…

I’ve been crashing all day as soon as I go to blue borderland. Same matchup as OP.

Is this since the API was released?

I also have this problem. Started yesterday when I tried to WP to our keep (3 times before I did something else) and again today when I tried to WP to our Garrison.

I hope they fix this soon as it’s making WvW unplayable

-rebuild doesn’t seem to be a valid command line option.
Did you mean -repair?

Just gave up on wvw till the bug is fixed.

this sucks, I upgraded a tower and can not get in to defend it now, it is taken by two players as no one from my server can get near it. Why don’t you close the servers and fix the problem.

T8 is having problems like this as well. Definitely not due to being near towers or keeps or using waypoints, as I’ve disconnected while in citadel and the mid-lake.

I think there is verification on the fact that the red borderlands have a bug because many of us in our guild including me cannot play at length at all without getting a client disconnect. I am pretty sure that the devs have been made aware of the problem.

Happened a lot all day, primarily Garrison on Gandara BL but also in lake, at vale, at gates of briar, on ruins and reports of it happening in EBG. No problems anywhere on Millers or FSP

Yeah, I crashed in ET borderlands earlier, going north from Hills, I think.

Doh, yes sorry…

Still can’t waypoint to Gandara garrison. Crashes to desktop a few seconds into the loading screen every time. Also happening randomly in other keeps/towers on Gandara BL. No problems on EBG.

This is were we are disconnecting in the RoS, GH and DZ matchup:
Klovan on EB, Dzago-Keep (seems like no german can even get into EB, it’s been empty of germans for hours now), RoS WP in bay, porting into Dzago border by WP or using the WvW-menu, sometimes when entering EB.

This is rly killing us all….
RoS bay with WP = green borderland
Dzago border = blue borderland.

I atleast havn’t had any crashes in the red borderland – GH border, but I do get in every other border

Confirmed Servers need more ca$h flow

I have same problems on Blacktide, and i can’t evern run near bugged waypoints…
EB green keep and also green borderland bay.

This only started happening to me tonight, but other people have had issues in the past.

I am playing on Underworld and I have been hearing about this issue for the past day or so. I personally haven’t had a problem yet, but today a lot of people were almost instantly DCing from EB, so we switched to the BL maps only to also have mass DCs there during inconvenient times =(, at least 2/3 of our zerg would DC, and we actually had a good number on today so 30 or more people were DCing at the same time. (I don’t know the exact number, it was probably more, but I don’t want to over exaggerate.)

Could we possibly get an update as to if you are looking into the issue or have any idea what the problem is? Or if there is a plan to emergency patch it? Any info at all would be great, tyvm for your time and hard work if you are already looking into how to fix this. Oh, and if there is already a reply to this and I didn’t see it sorry for the inconvience.

Is anything being done on this front?
We crash as soon as we enter ANY borderland.
The entire WvW map was painted in one color last night during primetime. It’s unplayable.
Please Anet leave our game alone!

I’ve had this also, really bad over last few days, serious hard crash with dc so have to reboot, only seems to happen in wvw, i played for many hours pve yesterday no dc crash.

can anyone confirm / deny that this helps?

A few posters mentioned to delete the local.dat file found where your screen shot folder is. Just remember your password/login as it will reset it.

It worked for me….results may vary.

Im Tier 1 NA and its happening on all 3 borderlands for me. Tick Tock, reset is coming and the hamsters haven’t been fed.
