Do you want a skilled game?
@Bunzy
With all due respect killing undergeared, and low level players leveled to 80 does not require skill, just a class that does a lot of burst damage, or a group that can utilize combo fields, and AoE damage. MMOs are not my choice for determining the skill level of a player, but I find these games tediously easy to play. No, if you want to test your skill, in a game that can actually measure a players skill, play something like Starcraft 2.
The only way to measure skill in this game, is to advocate a situation where everyone has the same stats and abilities. Quite frankly, that would be boring. The downed state is fine. I have no issues killing anyone with it, or without it. There is a lot of other things I’d rather the developers spend their time on.
I struggle killing people.
Do that with as a Ranger, traveling with other Rangers, and/or a mixture of Necromancers, and I’ll give you props.
I play my Ranger over my Thief, Warrior, and Guardian because it is more challenging.
lol………………………. If you’re not having issues, then why make a silly thread like this?
80 Thief – 80 Warrior – 80 Guardian – 80 Ranger
80 Mesmer – 80 Necromancer
I can recognize when something limits the amount of skill a player can have. The downed state will always favor the people with the most numbers, this is why I don’t agree with it.

And not having it favors the flavor of the month classes, and high burst classes, your point?
Ironically what you want HIGHLY benefits your class.
Again, play a Ranger, and/or Necromancer and run around with a group of non-flavor of the month classes, and do what you do now. Some classes have a lot of traits that are primarily dedicated to the downed state, Warriors, and Guardians among them.
They would have to do a lot of work to do what you want, so you can kill low levels, and undergeared toons.
I would rather the developers work on something else.

We run with a ranger often, He manages to keep up with the other classes fine. If you die to a high burst class it often your own fault, I don’t think having a safety net for bad play helps with that.

>You make a thread about wanting a skilled game.

I have less than 50 deaths on my Thief, with roughly 7k kills, I just broke the 200 deaths on my Ranger, with roughly 5k kills.
You play one of the fastest, and hardest to kill classes in the game, YOU SHOULD NOT be dying hardly at all, if ever. Classes are different, and you’re playing arguably the best WvW class in the game.
Show me videos of you playing a Ranger, killing d/d Elementalists, p/d Thieves, among others, and I’ll talk to you again. Until then, it isn’t skill you’re looking for, just more easy mode play, to suit a flavor of the month build.

LOL no surprises Bunzy plays a bunker ele, one of the hardest classes to down.
Totally no bias in his suggestion I’m sure.
Why is Bunzy playing WvW and not tPvP if he wants skillful gameplay or is his definition of skill playing against people underlevelled, undergeared, casual PvPers and Pvers who got lost on the way to the jump puzzle?

Because bunzy needs to feel like she is good at something, other than making 10 minute videos of lackluster team fights with uber cool techno background music, and then posting them on as many diferent threads as she can, even if it’s not relevant to the thread.

tPvP is about who can bunker best, not my style of play.

I am not a bunker by any means.

You have GOT to be kidding me…
