I would like to know if magic find will have any effect on the items we receive in the WvW chests that we receive with each WvW rank?

Pretty sure magic find/gold find has only ever affected drops from kills and not chests.

I know, but there could always be exceptions for newer additions to the game.

Does magic find affect the new kitchen sink bagels you buy at the store? Well it didn’t affect the plain bagels or the everything bagels or the jalapeno bagels you bought last week, but maybe it works for these bagels.

If it did affect chests, then the correct thing to do would be to only open a chest with max MF. if your armor isn’t max MF, that means that you should be carring a set of MF armor with you at all times.

Magic Find is an attribute that increases a player’s chance to receive higher-quality loot from dead foes.¹ Magic Find only affects loot dropped by foes, it does not affect any other source of loot.
