Does [Sigil of Absorption] work in wvw?
It seals boons on interrupt not life steal, and yes it works since release of HoT.
I can confirm it steals 1 boon on interrupt, usually retaliation.
Also I have been told that if you are a revenant and use the staff skill #5 and land it on opponent you can steal all his boons, but after looking some of my recording it doesn’t seem like that.

After the first interupt you will not be interupting your enemy as he won’t be doing anything, thus why you only steal 1 boon with Staff 5.

Apparently does still process on multi interrupts. Managed to land three in quick succession last night over about 4-5 seconds and they all stole a boon. Hurray!
Is that sigil worth taking over draining? Because I Luurrrve Draining Sigil. Wondering if its worth taking Absorption and Draining together.

A lot depends on your access to interrupts and the type of build you have. Draining helps any build to the same degree. Absorption is more nuanced.
The most important thing to note in Absorption is the boon removal priority. Resistance is at the top of the list. If a Condition build has this thing and fights those that rely on Resistance stealing that resistance can be be of great benefit.
Outside that it my feeling the sigil works best with builds that are able to interrupt readily and that have other sources of boon removal so that it can be used in conjunction to rip all boons away quickly rather then one every interrupt. If used in a thief build with RS and BT as example, this can help to rip away cover boons so that the RS can get at those juicy might stacks.

Thanks I roam with Power War, GS Mace/Shield and my mace has sigil of draining which is awesome. Mace/Shield set has a ton of interrupts. Was wondering if Absorption on the shield would be worth it. When you steal the boon do you get the full stack and for the duration the enemy had? Eg if enemy had 5 stacks of might for 10 sec do you get all 5 stacks for the 10 sec?

You get the durations. I am not so sure whether you get the stacks. The way boon theft works this very hard to track. As example BT on theif does not steal stacks but RS does.
When I was testing RS it took quite a while to determine it got stacks as I had multiple might sources coming in and there no messaging that stated “you steal 10 might stacks”.
On the warrior i do use draining on an interrupt build and it works very well especially when you can get multiples at once. I never got around to absorption on the warrior. It would be a little harder to test as you would have to interrupt your way through a number of other boons before you get to the might. I think MIGHT is around 5th in line and comes after some more commonly applied boons such as retal and swiftness meaning if the enemy keeps applying those boons you will be hard pressed to get at the might.
It does not transfer the stacks or the full duration if it is extended. Basically the attacker will get one boon with the initial duration of that stack and the defender will lose the entire stack.
Its only use is cutting through Aegis and Resistance which isn’t nearly as good as Draining IMO. I do keep a weapon in my inventory with that on it so I can switch after a reset to handle Resist Warriors and pesky DH’s running Defender runes.

this could be really useful for stripping resist from zergs.
Its okay on chronos and revs. Draining better tho cuz 1k spike+heal per interrupted target is nothing to scoff at. Gravity well, rev staff 5, axe necro and staff ele are prolly only specs with enough cc to be worth it on large scale. Thieves on small scale with that interrupt trait.
The resistance removal is a bit tricky because you need to first corrupt target out of stab and you cant really run the sigil on necros cuz you get useless boons (stab/resistance both ignore fear).
