Does using AA count as using a skill?
Is the AA channeled? Do some testing.
It depends entirely on the skill since ‘auto attack’ doesn’t define anything.. any skill could be set as the auto attack.
Even if you assume auto attacks is set to skill1, there’s a difference in the single use skills and chain skills.

You cant actually do auto attack at the same time as any other skill unless its instant (which cant be interrupted anyway), you always end up performing a single skill, be it auto or any other. So of course it count.
Unless you are talking about Anti-Aircraft guns. Its not skill, its just OP.
Everything with a cast time can be interrupted.. Yes this means ‘auto attacks’ too, even if it’s 1/4 second cast time it can be interrupted. This is what makes my confusion warrior beat thieves so easily I block to bait auto spam then shield bash for an interrupt.
There is no “auto-attack” in this game.
There is no “auto-attack” in this game.
It’s obvious that by auto-attack he means the ‘#1’ weapon skill, pretty much everyone who plays this game refers to it that way. Why would you even post in this topic a useless technicality statement is beyond me.
Looks like superior rune of perplexity is indeed OP and needs to be nerfed.
As many people in here have stated, “Auto-Attack” can refer to anything that you put on Auto-Cast; not just your #1 skill.
That said, if the skill has a channel bar (#1 skill or not), it can be interrupted. So if an “auto-attack” has a channel bar, then yes, “auto-attack” can be interrupted.
Now whether this refers to Rune of Perplexity being overpowered or not, the solution is simple: do not auto-cast. Any PvP pro will tell you, from any game, that predictable skill usage is a weapon that your foes will learn to use against you. In other words, if you are attacking in a discernible pattern, you are just being a bad player.
If a character is knocked down, stunned, or otherwise interrupted their skill chain will also reset.
