I know this has been brought up before. Maybe we have to keep talking about it to make it happen. When you are downed and spiked you shoud have to respawn at a waypoint. The current setup only promotes zerging. You fight a larger group then yours you wipe many of them. While your still busy dealing with the ones remaining a few power rez all the enemies that have been downed and spiked. Would also fix mesmers dieing at a door so they can get rezed and port people in. The maps aren’t that big you can run back from a waypoint.

I agree, and most others here perhaps. You are stomped, you cannot be rezzed anymore.
It will however not in the slightest help against zergs on low pop servers since they do not even get a chance to stomp. It’s even counter productive when you are defending, Wont go out because if the stomp me i cannot get back to defend.

I think if you’re downed and finished you shouldn’t be able to be rezzed in combat.

damage should break channelled rez and respawn should be forced after 60sec.

downed state is bad for PVP

Add the fact that stomping counts as an attack (reveal stealth) and you got a perfect solution for the downed/spiked state in both WvW and PvP. Damage breaking ressing is harsh in PvE though (boss battles)… but hey I’m all for a tougher time on zerkers.
