Down state is extremely unbalanced, fix it.
Stop it from reviving enemy players when it ends. Dosen’t even make sense.
Why punish players if you already won the fight? Down state is ok.
Why should my killing someone revive all the downed people around me? Makes no sense to me. I understand banners and pressing F that makes sense. Auto rez my group on 1 kill? Needs adjusted
tbh the only OP thing in downed state is AI based classes, even if you managed to down player his pets are still kicking your precious… that you actually might end up in downed state as well and at that point you lost the fight, because AI will kill you

Because you did not kill him. You just took away the 1st HP bar. The 2nd (the down state) it was still up.

Is not ok. In a 2v1 fight, downed state favors the 2 players that they already has a numeric advantage.
Downed state always favors the most numeric team. And is not balance like underwater combat. Because Anet just don’t care about it.

I wasn’t very clear I was saying someone in a downed state shouldn’t get back up when a kill is made somewhere around them. Killing someone has nothing to do with healing a downed state person.
This probably works well in PvE situations but I don’t PvE much so wouldn’t know.

Yep, what the title says.
My suggestion is to disable the number 2 and 3 abilities on all classes and call it good. (aside from just removing down state)
How about… down=dead.
Darn… they’d have to do what I’ve asked from the beginning to WvW would be much better:
To make it much harder to kill any player, give all at least the life of a Veteran, maybe above a Veteran NPC, then you will have to choose your enemies instead of just running them over.
THEN Down = dead …and it’s fair and equal.

True, imagine the improvement you’d get in roaming. Now if you happen to be in a 2v3 and in the other team there’s 2 guards as it is now you might as well just walk away.. same with thieves having more than 1 refuge
Just delay the ressing when downed
> downed > you cant be ressed for 5sec > after 5 sec the F appears and people can ress you..
This way you have some time to stomp/kill someone when downed ( 1vs2 situation )
