Downed State & Reviving
It doesn’t appease the people who don’t like the defeated resurrection at all really. When a smaller group goes after a zerg, they are already at a disadvantage. The problem is that even if you are able to pick off a few of the zerg, they will simply revive everybody after the battle and continue on at full strength. That is what needs to be removed because otherwise the tactics in the game will always be about who has the biggest army when the engagement occurs.
It’s fine as it is. Adapt. Learn to “double down” downed players. If you’re severely outnumbered expect them to revive if you even manage to down anyone, and let’s be honest… if you’re severely outmanned it wasn’t the downed state that caused you to get wiped. We’re what… nine months into release? If you haven’t adapted to the downed state by now you never will.
It most definitely is not fine lol…. Volk, stop relying on numbers and more on individual skill. Rezzing is a joke in this game. I’ve been saying at LEAST out of combat Rezzing / reviving downed targets. Stop feeding bad players excuse mechanics to win.
It’s fine rezzing people after the battle is said and done; it’s during combat that is the nuisance. Having to wait until your out of combat puts a larger force at a disadvantage against well coordinated smaller group.
If I had my choice, downed state would be gone completely, but I think it’d be just better to only allow rezzing when out of combat.
There have been numerous times when several people have been downed at once; the large force veils and focus rezz’s them all up. That wouldn’t happen in this case.
