I have several times lately encountered that when i down someone, they vanish from the map. Are people able to teleport to spawn or exit game with alt+F4 while downed? This is a huge fail imo and needs to get fixed.

Yeah, they can, though to my knowledge, when they log in, they’re dead.
Of course, that doesn’t matter to the killer who wants the loot/exp.
Arena Net has stated they are looking into this already. I saw it in a thread a week or so back. Though I haven’t seen an update yet about it.

Ah okay. Lets hope it gets fixed. This is just really bad sportsmanship.
It is, and it’s frowned upon, though with all games you always have some bad apple type players.

if its any consolation they log in dead so have to pay almost 1s40 for the way point and then more for the repair costs, so anyone doing it is pretty much brain dead considering they will also have to queue up aswell

There is no waypoint cost if you are in a town.
Interestingly I didn’t know of this till I started to read about it in the forums…. Ofc I would never use it myself <.<

You also don’t lose any buffs if you simply log out before you die.
