What happen to dragon brand in wvwvw we use to be one of the top pvp servers what are we doing wrong….

Going to T3 to wait for next imploding server so you can farm enough points to get back to T2.

DB was never a top pvp server. They were a top PvDoor server. Most of your guilds die on inc.

You will be ‘good at WvW’ again once you guys drop to T3.

Top SEA PvD server.

Dragonbrand is a virtual spring of untapped talent.

And no one is ever going to tap that talent, much like a keg of beer that sat outside all summer long; no one wants to tap that.

From my BP time, I just remember you guys having tons of people when others servers were a wasteland. Maybe the servers you are facing now happens to have more people than you do…

Mags is a top PvP server. As others have pointed out DB has a large off hour NA population making most of their points against vacant maps. Doesn’t mean DB doesn’t have some fine WvW fighters just that DB has never been a top transfer spot for the hardcore.

Even their supposedly large SEA are mostly fairweathers.

Well, I’m in TB on DB and all the fights we had against sos and maguuma we were outnumber at least 2-1…. from what I understand alot of people were really sick of it. Now we dropped to t3 last night and basically trucked every group or blob we came across last night.

Top spot of t3 is like t2 1/2 so you will outnumber whoever the other 2 are….. At least you are closer in pop than the new hod – FA.

They run around in one big blob that outnumbers both other servers. AND they bring Omegas??? Wtf?

They obviously have no interest in fighting. They just want to PvD.

There are enough opponents to have fights with but they hop around avoiding them. Even though they outnumber them. Did I mention they bring Omegas too?

Lolololol if you say so pal. On reset on DB borderlands I saw tons of roamers we had two large groups from what I saw TB and EA. TB had like 20 with maybe some pugs following. We did train a few groups a little smaller than us until we ran into a YB mega blob. We weren’t running in numbers as much as YB was.

I lol’d at this. FA is back to the same population levels as it was pre-S2, nothing new about it. New HoD? Really? 2 HoD guilds transfer to FA and all of a sudden we’re the new HoD? Yes, we’re getting guild transfers by the load because FA is a strong, organized community with a fun playing environment. Part of that is the ability to raise gold donations to help guilds that want to come here to complete the transfer. Meanwhile, HoD got transfers because it was free. An apt comparison, for sure.

Every other server is poorly knit, wins solely with coverage, cares only about rewards.
One’s own server is a strong organized community that wins with heart, persistence, and superior tactics.

When another server does it, it’s called buying guilds.
When your own server does it, it’s raising gold donations to help guilds that want to come here.

Never said guilds were bought or any of your other ramblings. What was meant was the sudden increase in pop compared to other servers. FA certainly is the post season hod in that respect. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t think you were beating mag/SOS pre season which you are now…… Is that because everyone else is bad or you have more peeps?

I don’t really care either way tbh, but to an outsider the pop increase was indeed hod ish.

If it was hod-ish, we’d have been in T1 by now. Duh.

Not really… Thanks to the seasons, 1 matchup after being bloated and HoD was already facing a T3 server (FA), from who HoD leeched a LOT of rating (They got 95 rating on the first week and 87 on the next week). If HoD was to climb the ladder while bloated, it would have taken much more time to face a server that would feed HoD that much rating.

But this is not the issue here, so I’ll not keep going on this topic…

During the weekends we can compete with SoS & Mags but during the work week we cannot quite keep up to their OcX & Sea coverage, but we will give it our all with what we have.

As for the comment about community, yea everyone says that and it was probably true of HoD before they got free transfers. But not everyone can prove it. It was said FA was imploding when we got stuck in silver due to guilds leaving both pre-season and mid-season. It takes community to stick through that and attract guilds to come here post-season. It just means that the FA core was larger than the HoD core and has a longer history of ties with each other than what a bandwagon core has. Sometimes whole communities transfer, such as a large chunk of SoR’s SEA going to TC.
