Longbow 5, dragon’s maw, traps, they all need red circles to show their landing location.

That light blue color in a chaotic environment like WvW is extremely hard to see. And these skills are extremely powerful in damage and crowd control.

Has been complained about since HoT release. Once the game starts culling effects, using longbow 5 is pretty much an exploit/abuse. Guess it maybe will be fixed sometime this year if we are lucky.

The fact that they don’t show damage circles is a bug. It looks like a bug. Feels like a bug. Weird that it has not been fixed.

We should not have to complain about it, it should have been fixed a long time ago.

We cannot even get a visible Hunter’s Ward… circles… unlikely. Don’t even get me started that the Guardian somehow managed to get a CC that cannot be stun-breaked or dodged/blocked out of. The only way to not get hit by the invisible fence is to use the force and then pray you have a teleport capability.

We cannot even get a visible Hunter’s Ward… circles… unlikely. Don’t even get me started that the Guardian somehow managed to get a CC that cannot be stun-breaked or dodged/blocked out of. The only way to not get hit by the invisible fence is to use the force and then pray you have a teleport capability.

And if there happens to be a test of faith trap around, you could easily eat a 5k damage by teleporting out of it.

Those traps should despawn anyway after x number of seconds or when the clown putting them down leaves the vicinity. Tired of walking into traps some lameguard planted half an hour ago.

5K?

Pfff. One of them hit me for 8K yesterday (and he was a mile away). I have 1800 toughness on the char that was hit.

Nothing epitomises the sorry state of combat in WvW more than DH mechanics. I have been downed by the damage of a stack of traps from full health before the animations of the traps have even materialised. This happened to me twice within the same WvW play session and both times there wasn’t a single DH around and I fully resurrected myself. I was downed by someone who wasn’t even there – just eugh. Then there’s Spear of Justice that will likely not materialise for you on screen until you’ve been pulled out of your dodge. And then yes there’s the infamous Hunter’s Ward. It’s not bad enough that we now have a ranged Ring of Warding, but it also, for the most part, is invisible.

This is really just the tip of the iceberg of problems in WvW and why I really don’t think this game mode is salvageable.
