While messing around with the short bow ‘The Dreamer’ (legendary) a friend of mine noticed that he would see the unicorns shooting while he was in stealth, this isn’t so much a problem when you are shooting at someone as you will be revealed anyway once the attack hits. However you can also see them when you try to use Infiltrator’s arrow which is a problem.

We asked a frienemy if they where also able to see the unicorns and they said that yes, the unicorns where indeed visible making the thieves location very easy to pick up on when they are trying to be stealthy.

In the name of science; we tested this further in the pvp arena’s and when the Dreamer was used in pvp, while in stealth the Infilrator’s arrows appear as normal sb thief arrow rather then all pretty and horse like. When the thief came out of stealth, they where, once again, back to their glorious selves.

Is it possible to have this same mechanic (basic arrows) converted over to wvw so that the bow is more viable and less of a hazard to ones health.

Well, I do understand that it is an issue for any profession that can go stealth..

But, why not just reskin the weapon?
(will take way less time than having ANet implement normal arrows for the dreamer in some specific game modes)

Legendaries are pretty big deals and a significant investment. Pretty dissapointing to have to reskin it because of something like this. There should be NO negatives to something on the scale of a legendary.
