Imagine if they took a bit of time to Allow the map of Dry top to have a WvW version where you can fight, having 3 servers similar to the Bls, Does not even have to have objectives if devs feel that will take too long.

Something new and Devs dont even have to work on a new wvw map from scratch, just use the existing ones and let us fight in it.

Imagine Combat in Dark mines and tunnels, Or combat in a huge sandstorm

Low visibility sandstorm battles could be equal parts hilarious and infuriating. I just want some proper open world PvP. Some sort of ‘invasion’ mechanic. It’s all the rage in games development these days. Come on Anet!

Asked for the same thing in the LS forum. Nobody replied. Wasted potential indeed.

Truth is every Ls released should be released with it’s competitive counterpart. Then the game would live up to it’s potential.

environmental effects on battles would be interesting and I’d like to see it

Druid main, 80 on all, Legendary ranked, Eternal and all that jazz (I go by Feyris in game)

Every single other PvE map would make for a much better WvW map than Dry Top would. The reason is that Dry Top is a very linear map with chokepoints everywhere. It would be a very bad experience to have a WvW battle on.

But as I said, every other PvE map would be better, as they are generally much more open and non-linear. I can honestly say, pick any traditional 1-80 leveling zone, drop WvW objectives on it, and it probably wouldn’t play too terrible, but it would be a much needed refresher for WvW.

What anet can (and should do if they can get NCSOFT to float some budget their way) is to do exactly what this post says. Make a wvw version of every LS map that comes out or at least a WvW map to go along with it. The map doesn’t have to be really complex: 3 towers and a keep + spawns for each side. The map takes the look and feel of the LS but ties into the WvW score at the end of the week. They could even tie it into the LS storyline (I know you guys hate getting PVEer chocolate in your WvW Peanut butter but it could probably work).
