Hi hi. This has probably been discussed but there is no thread dedicated to it so I’m posting one. Righteous Indignation could use some tweaking, at least my opinion is that it can take so little time to capture something that sides just keep flipping structures back and forth. It’s similar to the term Time to Kill, you could call it Time to Capture – having just five minutes of protection (regardless of the structure size?) makes it easy to just not care about protecting anything while the people who spent money on the structure take a loss.

Are you ok with the time being five minutes short and identical for all structure types? Tweaks to Righteous Indignation can go along with tweaks to the time and effort it takes to capture stuff, upgrading structures could extend the timer, and so on. Thanks for your input.

I’d actually like it if RI didnt exist.

That way you actually had to stay and defend and not have this arbitrary period of neutrality.

Someone else commented on it in another thread, that the 15 min RI removed his sense of accomplishment in WvW. I must admit I agree, if you took a keep and it had an hour RI you would feel like you really accomplished something, and defending it afterwards would be more important ? To stop enemy from getting an hour RI back.

But largely, that feeling of "We got this kitten! whoa, now we can relax a bit, grab a coke/beer, some chips, talk and cheer a bit in TS, finally get that toilet break, or taking the dog out for 10 min walk." without coming back and finding the keep re-flipped, and yourself pasted all out over the floor.

Basically victory is fleet in WvW, tops 15 minutes. And many might want to feel better rewarded for winning something, letting that accomplishment linger.

Though worried about the implications for something like say for ex an hour long RI and the current PPT system. Though it sure would mess with the K-Train when they got everything in 1 hour, and they have to wait another hour before they can K-Train it back again.

Hm. It wouldn’t even have to make the lord invincible, just a lot tougher – that might actually improve what TexZero mentioned. I don’t know enough about it so that’s why I’m asking but investing into structures seems like bit of a waste. If people are fine with the way things are then ok. I’d probably like to see fights last a bit longer, have mechanics that make you think before suiciding into enemies, upgrading structures provide more improvements and stuff like that…
