Guild Wars 2

After playing WvW for months and asking a lot of people I still don’t know why this bridge has an HP bar.

So anyone knows?

If you stand below it while it gets destroyed, the rocks will squash you good!

Because you can take it down so people can’t build siege there? Just my guess.

Since no less than 3 classes can destroy ANY siege placed on the bridge, my guess is that it was supposed to do something and the reason was removed.

You’ll notice that a few other towers have this too – the SE tower in borderlands for one (no others spring to mind atm). I assume its so you can stop people making siege there, but whats the point – if you have the range to hit the bridge you have the range to hit the siege they put there.

Although its funny to see an oblivious trebber hitting the durios bridge from SM, assuming its a wall from the damage numbers, and after a while watching a zerg roll up wanting a free door.
