What’s going on on EU servers?

Baruch Bay -9 ranks, -210 rating
Jade Sea -3 ranks, -120 rating

T1 was a protected area during the last weeks, but this week:

Piken -3 ranks, -40 rating
Vizu -2 ranks, -80 rating

SFR constant but mostly only due to the free pts Piken give away.

Many WvW-player lost motivation after league?

The bought and paid for guilds went back to their home servers?

Christmas has taken its toll, some guilds probably returned. But the greatest contributor is probably that people are finally taking a break after 7 weeks of dedication.

Deliberate tanking in some cases.

Many players left their serveur (like augury rock 9’ of the league) to go on vizunah for easy cap but now with the new match up system they have to fight against high populated serveur so they are a bit mad cus its harder. Some others guild left ~10 first serveur to go on the silver league to do what they want and to do some easy cap. There is also few players really mad against arenanet cus the reward for being top 1/3 were really bad so they almost dont play anymore …

In regard to Piken, i may add that having to fight a lost battle for 4 weeks (all those vizunah/sfr matchups) makes many players lose any will to even try fighting.

There are a few factors that easily explain the current situation :
- the need for some to cool off after the league
- the holidays
- the tiredness of WvW and more globally gw2 that was only put on hold by the league.

You don’t have a clue about what’s going on the others servers so stick to yours, it’ll be better for everyone.
