Not directly related to the final winners, but looking at the scores it’s really interesting how many of the 2nd and 3rd places have switched in the last day. Our group was set all week, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then just today 2nd (RoF) and 3rd (Dzago) swapped places. 2nd and 3rd were not particularly close at this time yesterday, not sure how exactly Dzago made up the difference. Did the entire server pull an all-nighter?

Remember that it’s all about preparation and organisation, help your players building properly and find a good commandant with a good decision making.

Oh, and if you don’t like blobing, join a guild, so it’ll become more interesting as individual skill will maybe matter a bit more.

The people that think GH will end up high in the silver league have it wrong, we will be last together with UW, with the lack of organisation of some night guilds or off peak time guilds and the recent transfers from some WvW guilds to other servers made GH a very weak server.

It’s not a real competitive league since wins are determined 100% by coverage, more a fun thing for casuals to feel good about.
The whole wvw is like playing football with cap of 11 players, but some teams can’t bring 11 players for 90mins.

That’s why I vote for Vizunah & Seafarer and another 24/7 server too.

It’s atm simply no question of skill (that doesn’t mean I think there are only bobs on those servers), but winning is only a question of coverage. And that doesn’t mean that those people have “No RL” (stupid flame anyway), but if 80 % of a server go to sleep while on another server the sun goes up (again), you simply have a big advantage.

Rumors said that were was some sort of alliance between UW and FSP. Not to mention FSP EU crew stayed up 2 days in a row just to win this matchup.

And what may I ask is UW supposed to bring to this alliance.. it cant even hold onto a single tower in any match up so far.. why, cos the WvW pop is decimated and like me many are bored already and leaving season 1 behind. Anet screwed us and left everyone else to pick the bones… so again what alliance and should we bring party hats?

I’d say SFR is slowly going out of the competition, we’ve recently just lost a few of our guilds. At the current rate, I expect SFR to drop to silver league/T3 or so. The WvW guilds simply couldn’t put up with waiting hours to play WvW in a random queue system.

SFR will not be in the top 3 cause some double teamings will await us, and there are roumors, that some WvW Guilds will leave the Server.

But i like it and hope that the bandwagoners then leave the Server, if not SFR will be a PvE Server.
