I’d prefer us to be realistic about what we are capable of than living in cloud cuckoo land, which means if we are overstretching ourselves I’d rather we found out sooner rather than later. I would be disappointed if you gave it anything less than your best shot.

But it will never be like that after the reset, all the servers will start fresh and thus bigger the blowout of one server will be higher he will be.

Comming from Gunnar’s i’m partly flattered seeing us predicted in Top 3 tiers, and i’m partly surprised as well : )

I will have to say that I don’t see us going top 3. Next week will be a toughie, fighting FSP and Miller’s Sound. A true test of 3-way fighting, which we hadn’t had for long time.

I’d be looking at AG / Gandara instead to replace us in Top 3 predictions, who have had recent transfers of good guild.

The matchup next week is still based on the ratings, right? So I guess Whiteside Ridge will be Tier 1 the week after. Quite funny, but looking at the rankings I’d say there is no other server that will have more points than Whiteside Ridge by the end of next week.

iam not talking about next week obviously, else whiteside ridge is a clear winner here.
i am talking about what happens when the ladder is settled, maybe a month from now i chose gunnars over piken cos, i feel they are much stronger and xaoc has no opposition in their time zone giving them free 4 -8 hours advantage.

i haven’t played in lower tiers so i can’t guess much, but id say almost all servers are within equal in EU primetime, its the outside hours that makes a difference, hence Gunnar’s is higher in the list. and thats why i say BB is also in the list.

My prediction for first 2 tiers:

Deso
SFR

ER
Piken
Jade

It will be pretty much what it is now. Some servers will rotate places, as they do now.
Getting up when down and down when up, so i put them in a place-range.
Result:
1. Vizu
2-4. SFR, Deso, Elona,
5.-7. Kodash, Jade, Baruch

Piken seems to be much weaker than Jade in the current match, so:
8. Piken
9.-10. Augury Rock, Riverside

So whatever the reset will produce as “variation”. It will be only short-time.
In the end T1-3 will look again as now

Jade sea is definately going up to compete with other hugely populated servers.
Baruch is going to drop a tier or two.
Ar is going up and no doubt will stay at t3-4.

As for piken, judging by recent developement, it will end up in free fall sooner or later (more likely sooner). Bandwagoneering broke piken way of playing and it´s already starting to show in game.

Based on random gut feeling and the fact Piken seems to be in trouble internally. Also, I think people predicting Gunnar’s in tier 2 are a bit too optimistic. Well, not just a bit. Unless GH gets a massive boost in players all of a sudden, I predict tier 5 or 6 based on current activity levels. Maybe 4.

far as I know, just a small portion of xaoc moved in Gunars, rest gone… somewhere else, I forgot :p

Piken is more likely to collapse like Blacktide than be tier 1… Tier 2 or 3 maybe, but it really depends how much Anet destroy the piken community with the latest changes… 500 gems = come here sign on our backs when we are full and have been for awhile means core guilds are looking at alternatives because we have been x’d over.

Anyhow, tier 1 is going to be Vizunah, desolation and sfr/ER. Since we stopped fighting in order to drop to tier 2, we’ll be there next week. But how we evolve after that is anybody’s guess.

There’s only one thing that can stop Piken from being a Tier2 aside from the bandwaggoners and queues, and that is solely Piken itself.

AG v Gunnars v Piken or Gandara. Now that would be stuff of legend, I’d take a week off work for that.

Those ratings are from the old system, so not yet exact until millenium gets the new formula. Also, it will take a few weeks for the tiers to settle again.
