In your opinion which do you think fit into those categories
You can add a keep if you want.
I’ve always found the tower to the right of the citadel the hardest to capture
(Crags, Dawn, Cliff)
And Quenten Lake to be the easiest
(edited by LieutenantGoogle.7326)
i play on eternal battleground map most of the time so…
Anza is the easiest to take
Wildcreek is the hardest one
i havent been playing in borderland enough to have opinion on those
In BL….the easiest tower to take is the one near your spawn. The hardest tower to take is the one not near your spawn.
Putting that aside, I guess the SW tower seems the easiest. NE is the hardest.
Doritos is definitely the easiest to take in the whole game! It swaps sooo
Much…hardest is probably tie between langor/veloka/jerrifer

anza/durious both… it is why green side is nice to be on in EB
In EB the hardest seems to be Veloka, but I can’t say I’ve really fought much at Jerrifer so maybe that is equal. Langor is the hardest blue tower, but that’s still much easier than Veloka.
The easiest is probably Anz, followed by Durios. For keeps, red has to be the hardest in EB with blue the easiest. I’d like to see red given to the third place team instead of the first place one to try even things out slightly.
A lot of it depends on the location – the North towers on borderlands are obviously a lot harder to take or defend for invaders than it is for the home team. The southeast tower is not hard if you own the hills keep, but more difficult if you do not.
Considering only the design and surrounding geography, however, I would say on the BL maps, the NE tower is the hardest to take because of the siege cliff that has great visibility and cannot be AOE’d by the attackers. The hardest to defend is probably the southwest tower due to the back wall that cannot be upgraded.
In the non-EB borderlands SE tower is the easiest tower to flip whenever you feel like since you can easily treb it from east keep, and east keep is by far the easiest keep to defend on the map (even easier than your own garrison). It’d say SW or NE towers are the hardest depending if you’re an invader or not.
Too many factors, if you own the nearby keep/tower you can take everything easier, if the enemy owns them then some towers can become incredibly hard, etc.
Based purely on the towers themselves – Jerrifers/Wildcreek are the harder imho, and Anzalias/Ogrewatch some of the easiest.
In Borderlands, for attackers hardest is definitely NE, easiest is SW.
There are allot of factors but the layouts of the towers are a little unfair IMO. Green in EB has Klovan, Wild Creek, and Jerrifers which are all designed to have joke points over top of their gate entrance. Not to mention that if you have WC and KG the time it takes to run from each of those towers is half the time it takes for Blue to move from DG to QL or Red AP to OGER. But maybe I am just tired of being blue in EB for idk 5th week in a row it seems.
No doubts
Best keep to defend (therefor the hardest to conquer) the Green team keep in EB
In the homeland instead Etheron is a strong keep, good design overall…
As forts instead, just anyone close to respawn point and supply depot being the easiest to conquer
SM is above all ofc..
Just imagine if the 3rd and 1st place teams (going into the match) switched colors/starting locations. Giving the higher tiered server the easier towers to defend is such a weird design choice.
I’ve found Mendons so easy to hold when the gate goes down…. idk why my server is like
“Hey need help at Mendons”
“Don’t worry about it that tower it sucks”
I was going to put Mendons on my list, but any siege can be AoE’ed from below
BL → Dawn (if it’s not your homeland)
EB → Green Keep.
Out of pure tower design and location I’m on the Anza og Durios wagon for the easist tower’s to take
The best Tower layout to make it really easy to defend (making it the hardest tower to take) is the Green/Blue/Red-Lake tower’s in the borderlands, that tower is just awesome in every way!

Except for the fact that it can be trebbed from inside east keep.

Yup – and it’s pretty hard to get rid of the treb if your enemy is definding their west walls. I’ve spent HOURS lubbing stones and cows from Etheron (or whatever it is called on the other maps) on that poor tower.
In EB:
Easiest to take tower: Anz, Durios, Klovan.
second Easiest: Quentin, Ogre, wildcreek.
Hardest: the rest of the towers (five of them are the heart of the keep, if these towers fall, your keep is in danger (first and second wall/gate will absolutely fall if enemy has good organisation and can defend it well)).
Hardest keep to take (in regards of environment): overlook (that is why this keep is given to third rank on the tier).
Easiest keep to take: lowlands (that is why this keep is given to the first rank in each tier, watergate: not reinforced can be taken down easily, courtyard is too large: enemy have advantage to put their different siege here).
BL:
The easiest: the tower near your spawn point.
The hardest: the tower in NE (Dawn/Crag/Cliff).
Hardest to easiest keep: Hill, Garrison, Bay.
In EB:
Easiest to take tower: Anz, Durios, Klovan.
What makes Klovan so easy for you? Maybe I am missing something.
If you put: Rams on Gate you get hit with: Catas on the inside, mortars/trebs from the keep.
Catas on the South Wall: Arrow Carts AoEd and Trebbed from the keep, depending on location catad from inside Klovan. (The only point that I have not really been trebbed while hitting that south wall is to the south west tucked under that that hill and to the south east by that cliff. But other than that you are within treb range of their keep 80% of the time and within range of ACs, Batista, and internal catas 100% of the time. Heck they put trebs inside Klovan that you cant AoE down, your day gets worse.
So what am I doing wrong?

Interesting position on the keeps, but I’m 99% certain Overlook is given to the first place team and Valley is given to the third place team with Lowlands being the 2nd place team.
It goes Green, Blue, Red I am pretty sure.

Apparently the score projections last week for my tier changed dramatically between when I checked on Thursday and the end of the match. That seems to align with where they actually ended instead of where I thought they did in my tier. Carry on.
both citadel towers are more difficult than both invader towers. This is by design as it allows the defenders to put up more of a fight in their home turf. Of the 2 citadel towers, the east tower is by far the worst as it has the geography to point ballistas safely at any of the destructible portions of the the walls. The only counter for this would be a defended trebuchet, on open land, with a good operator, which is obviously vulnerable to counter-attack if the defenders react in a timely fashion.
Even catapults are difficult if the tower has been sieged properly. You basically don’t take the east tower unless the home BL is outmanned or willfully unaware of how to defend (ie everyone on the map just runs around in a zerg camp capping for silver/karma instead of strategically playing).
