I’ve read the numerous posts expressing displeasure about the current state of WvW.

My thought: why not give the “losing” teams a buff? I mean, let’s say at the beginning of a match (when all teams have 33% of the map) a player has no buff… during the course of the day Team A claims 50% of the map — the other two teams with 25% would each get a buff of 25%.

What does this do? It allows weak teams a chance to fight back after logging in to see they have 0% of the map… but it also means the strong teams will get more of a challenge.

Thoughts?

I disagree. Borlis Pass has proved that they can recuperate and gain back territories after being badly dominated by Ehmry Bay, even we, Ehmry Bay, has all three Orbs of Power.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,

Oh, I hear ya. I’m just saying, instead of all the ideas already posted, this is mine. I think people should be able to fight their way out — but far too many posts are expressing how people don’t bother queuing and those who do get spawn camped. The buff gives people in those positions a chance to walk into siege fire and actually come out alive. (until they start taking capture points).

a better undermanned buff, yes, this would be usefull as the existing one is just a bad joke – if a server has good players but is losing just because of numeric inferiority they have a right to get something to at least get a fighting chance.
but a buff for servers with bad players? no, this would be a bad idea, nobody would care to learn to play.
