For whatever reason there is a reluctance to build a gvg section into the game…. strange because GW1 had such a section. Anet did introduce an arena in OS that seems to be underused but the problem is that sometimes match-ups between servers become too stale for the guilds who prefer gvg over wvw.

But there are two very easy options that Anet can instigate to solve this problem…

Option 1: Make OS semi-massive-server —- just like eotm – all the green matched servers vs all the red vs all the blue.

Option 2: Add the gvg arena that is in OS to part of the eotm map.

What this will do is allow guilds to fight against guilds on a wider range of servers than just their current match up. Silver league guilds can fight gold league guilds, can fight bronze league guilds.

Many different GvG ideas have been posted, Anet doesn’t care about it so don’t expect anything like this to happen.

There are places in EotM where you could GvG. Take some initiative and set it up yourself.

You can’t control pugs man, you can’t control pugs. They’d rush in and get in the way or mess it up.
