Endgame lacks WvWvW purpose
The match making system is loosely based on the physics professor by the name of Elo. It was initially used for a chess rating system and is currently employed world wide in a host of different fields.
Enough with the introductions. In chess (yes i am a chess tournament director), you are provisional rated for your first 15-20 games. This marks a more volatile movement in rating to get the player where he needs to go. It is like a broad stroke of a painter before he moves onto finer detail. After that, the system moves into its stride with it awarding points based on the difficulty of your opponents.
We are in the provisional rating system in GW2. I assume they will keep a constant tally on the site and apps as soon as we move out of the provisional games.
I don’t think they will ever have WvW stats and summaries. It will just promote people to leave and transfer to top servers, which will overload those, longer queue times, etc etc. As far as missing content goes, make a different race character the story is so much more understanding from other perspectives, and how can you be bored with a significant grind for gear through karma and honor badges? Or compete in sPVP tournies.
