Please do something to stop your own side constantly destroying the fortress bridge, people are just spamming it with catas and draing supply at the fortress to repair it’s a pain in the kitten .

What do you expect? They put in an achievement for blowing up bridges without any stipulation on friendly or unfriendly bridges being destroyed. ’Chieves hunters gonna hunt.

So then they should take that achievement clean out, anyone who wasted supply, hindered or even killed allies for their own selfish goals would have simply wasted their time.

Well you can either let them destroy the bridge and rebuild it only to destroy it again; but as said this totally hinders the rest of us as we have to go the longer way round!

Second, if you can repair the bridge whilst it’s on low health but not destroyed, just keep repairing it, preventing the pve scrub from destroying the bridge so they’ll have to come back later.

Third, join on an enemy player and give them right of way to the scrub allowing them to kill him, you can the enemy player can them laugh and dance on their corpse.

Or the devs could but a bit more thought into things and not put in achievements which will make friendly players greater hinder other friendly players! As said, only enemy bridges can be damaged, and you own the bridge if you own both capture points, on either side, and is only flipped to another owner is they own both, i.e. just getting their own side point back isnt enough.

Macros, you can use them as long as they arent macros.

In this case there is literally nothing you can do.

Wait for the achievement hunters to quit and it’ll be fine.

If it’s a problem 2 weeks from now… just switch instances.

In this case there is literally nothing you can do.

Whenever i get the chance i hop on their catas and turn them around. I figured its going to be more effective then trying to report them and hope arenanet solves it.

This is obnoxious. But the fix could be worse. Do you want to NOT be able to blow up bridges?

I see as many problems with just blowing up enemy bridges, UNLESS you have to claim the bridge.

Destroying bridges itself is not a problem, but when you attach an achievement to it people are going to camp a bridge closest to spawn and destroy it over and over while draining supply, obstructing the passage for other players, and even killing some unfortunate lot who happen to be on the bridge as it gets destroyed.

And those last two escalate this to griefing. Willfully obsctructing or killing friendly players.

Well the rules of conduct say:

1) While playing Guild Wars 2, you must respect the rights of others and their rights to play and enjoy the Game.

Yet what did Anet say about all those players who transfer to and enemy ever to sabotage them but building tonnes of useless siege, wasting supplies, and starting unwanted upgrades just before the enemy zerg attacks you.

They said they cannot limit peoples’ playstyle, and so what these players were going is just fine. Yet this clearly conflicts with the above RoC

But then if they act on one thing, they’ll have to act on other things, like when a pug steals your golem from spawn to kill a rabbit only to be ganked by a thief and die.

These bridge buster AP guys just want the AP, they dont contribute to your team but cause so much more trouble. It’s nice that anet have set this up so that one single pug can affect the game negatively for everyone else!

But as usual, yet again! we WvW player will ahve to wait 2-4 weeks for these idiotic PvE AP hunters before we can enjoy this map properly!

Well, last night I was told not to repair the bridge. Our side destroyed it, so that the enemy had less routes available to them. Sure, we had to go the long way as well, but that is worth it, if you can choke the other zerg.

Thats the purpose. But instead theres, no kittenting, 8 cata’s hammering the bridge and then it gets repaired as quickly as possible to be destroyed again. They’ve litterally hit the cap of what the supply of supply can handle. They end up having to wait for new supply to proc before they can continue.

As a result the main bridge is constantly down so people have to wait or take a much lenghtier detour, people accidentally fall and die, and a reactor and main keep are constantly dry.

Go around.
Not supporting their idiotic behavior, but this is Carebear Wars 2. Where nothing is done to support negative behavior and everyone holds hands because it’s always sunny in Tyria.
It’s a big map. Just take the extra 15 seconds to go around and ignore the trolls. The points don’t count towards anything anyway so losing supplies isn’t as big a deal as it is in the actual WvW maps.

Its not the extra run time its the kittening ethics that bothers me. I’m not asking for a utopia, just some basic kitten that should be a given.
