Is EoTM still planned to be released as restricted to your current matchup?
Yes …. which I think is a hugely flawed decision on the part of ANet. Unless, of course, they realize that making EOTM matches open to all regional servers would probably make it more popular by far than anything else in WvW and turn even EB into a wasteland.

I agree. In my opinion EoTM locked to a matchup thread is just another perk to reward server stacking. Time will tell I guess.
Well if you wanna play in EoTM you need to transfer in server that have players/enemies there. If EoTM would be shared between all servers that would just raise www in new level. You could fight against different players/guilds every day.
