Eternal battlegrounds Jumping puzzle is a good way to obtain badges of honor which are needed for legendaries or armor/weapons. I hate when you get close to completing the ridiculously long jp, some trolls(players) like to annoy you and kill you right when your almost done. I am hoping that arena net fixes this annoying situation. If they made people invulnerable while the attempt the jumping puzzle, i think it will help out everyone.

Or just learn how to battle in the open field? o.O
Hunting down players nets more badges than the JP.

Besides the jumping puzzles are designed for PvP, Anet won’t be changing it.

Sorry but there is a reason they have traps at every section. Just have to get a group with you and kill said trolls.

The jumping puzzle is in WvWvW a PvP area where as the name states you are intended to fight and kill each other.

If Arena net wanted you to get badges of honor without the risk of death it would not be implemented in a PvP area. To create a legendary are you not meant to master all aspects of the game? Is that not the point to the Badges being in the recipe to begin with to earn it through combat?

As for trolls? No not trolls they are simply players who realize where people who want to make a legendary as easiest possible way are going to go and are going to camp it for free loot essentially it’s your fault for walking into an area well known to be a trap not theirs.

Really if you want your legendary your going to have to play risk for reward.

I absolutely love reading QQ threads about being ganked in the jumping puzzle. Keep em coming. O and I almost forgot. Hahahaha

Camping the jump puzzle with a few friends and massacaring pve’rs is a much better way to get badges than actually completing the jump puzzle. Getting 50 kills a day in the jump puzzle should be a daily.

I am going to have to agree. While it may be frustrating to go through all the work of a jumping puzzle to get hit at the last possible moment, your enemies have every right to kill you in any PvP area. Sorry, but they do. Remember, there are four different puzzles. One of them is hopefully guarded by your world.

I wish I had the luxury of the spare time to do and hour or two of puzzle-ganking more often.

The bags, the tears are worth more than any exotic that ever fell out of a pve zone… which coincidentally, seem to be where former owners of the bags and tears come from.

RIP ro all the lost siege blueprints thrown away by PvEers cheesing JPs for badges. :’(

Another day, another jumping puzzle thread. OP, I highly encourage you to do a search next time. We see many new threads complaining about the EB jumping puzzle in this forum and your thread on this issue is not unique. By doing a search, you would have known the predominate opinions of the WvW forum regulars and would have known how this thread would turn out (not to mention you could have posted in one of the many existing threads on this topic instead of creating yet another new thread on the issue).
