Eternal Battlegrounds are a mess.....
Never had any problem since they fixed this weeks ago.
Sea of Sorrows
Since this is an online computer game… and not all internet connections or computers perform the same; I can not claim that rendering issues still do or do not exist.
BUT
Have you ever noticed how some guilds have a thief throw down an area effect stealth, then the guild stacks into the area effect? I have. If you pay attention, you can still see the little black markings indicating the stealth. Stealth can be broken with area attacks. Since I became aware of this, I now look for it, and break it every time I see it happening.
I still run into it in large fights.
Say we are defending a tower with the defending and attacking army having a large force each. Numerous times I’ve pushed out the gate, seen enemy siege nearby and decide we’ve gained the upper hand as there are few enemies to be seen. I get out there and start tearing up the most threatening siege weapons just in time to see a host of baddies start materializing around me.
Here I am thinking I was the first to suss out a momentum shift while in reality I was just flinging myself headlong into an unrendered horde.

If you are talking about the rendering of player characters, or CULLING, it hasn’t been fixed. It will be fixed in the Nov. 15th patch.
Sanctum of Rall – [Choo]
Only time I see it is when lots of players render all at the same time. Like when I run through a gate and suddenly there’s 30+ players on my screen that weren’t there before. A mass group exiting stealth at the same time might cause the same problem.

It’s still there. I get it all the time in SM. Let’s hope Nov. 15th has the solution, or at least makes it better.
Though I do imagine that Culling is the unintentional result of some kind of code meant to make large groups more manageable to crappy computers. Fixing culling, I assume, will result in large groups having a larger impact on performance than they currently do. Then again, perhaps Anet has found a good solution.
Guardian
I’ve seen other games that showed grey blobs while player models were rendering. Something like that would work, even just showing the name would help so if you see 30 name tags running at you, even though you only see 3 players, you know how to react.

Repeatedly mash ‘target closest player’.
Cast huge elite AoE skills into an area that absolutely no one is standing in.
Take huge damage, die and realise your standing in a group of 20+ enemies

The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
