on the 16/12/2012 at 4:30pm Gmt the Unerworld server used to glicth treb to take SM from us, i don’t see how this is fair that a server get rewarded for cheating?????? this need sorting out

this treb is shooting through the roof a QL and we could not treb it back so we lost sm because of this

Not a glitch, not a bug, and not an exploit.

You can take that treb out by building a few ballista where you are standing and using the #2 ability.

How about utilize smart play next time instead of whining on the forums about it, like your enemies are obviously doing.

it dose not matter if it can be took out via blasiters or aoes but it cant be took out via treb what is the main thing how is a treb firing through a roof not glitching?

That looks like an open roof to me.
And I’m pretty sure some splash damage would take that treb down lol.

Or how about you build some trebs to take down the quentin walls.
And then take that Treb down.

There are so many things you could do, and it’s your own fault you failed to do it.

Its fireing through the open hole in the roof…
Completely legit.

BTW you can build a treb that can fire into that open hole as well from the outside, but only in very specific locations on the map. Or, you can take the easy route and build a few ballista and kill the superior trebuchet from below.

Just because something cant be easily counter trebbed from SM doesnt mean its cheating, there are plenty of treb locations inside SM itself that cant be trebbed from the safety of a tower or keep, and that isnt cheating either.

BTW i find this treb location completly cool, and I will now be using it. Kudos to whoever figured that out on underworld, it must have taken quite a bit of time and trebuchets finding that exact spot.

Let me spell it out for you slowly:

There is a
HOLE
IN
THE
ROOF

you can shoot through the hole in the roof.

and from what I see its actually shooting through the side, hole in the roof area. The treb shots actually start lower than you would think.

Do you know what I like best about WvW? Enemies using creative strategies to beat me. Something you dont ever get in PvE. They presented you with a problem you had to solve, there are plenty of solutions in the toolkit you could use:

1) build a treb in range of the lord area in QL and counter treb the treb, a treb’s splash area is pretty big and will probably hit, you might need to use a spotter to zero in the shots.
2) build ballista on the ground near it (if you can target it, ballista can hit it with #2 at least)
3) take QL
