It starts at 1000, and my current rank of 5 it’s… 5000? (I think, not logged in atm)

Does it keep requiring more wvwexp per point?

It is confirmed to cap at 5k needed per level. An Anet member stated in the WvW lakes yesterday while i was playing.

im at lvl 7 and its at 5000. it might be just the first few lvls are 1000 then the rest are 5000. haven’t asked anyone about the higher lvls yet.

The WvW designer mentioned you should get a level roughly every hour, so I assume it levels out eventually for each rank rather than becoming progressively higher.

Something like 5000 or 10000 per rank max seems reasonable.

You need 1400 ranks to get all of the buffs assuming you get 1 point per rank, and as that’s roughly 1400 hours if you’re getting a rank per hour (for just one character), I’d think it wouldn’t get that much higher.

I’ll confirm the 5000 points per rank. The screenshot preview for the WvW system showed a rank 27 “scout” that required 5000 points to the next level.
