Guild Wars 2

I am currently on Jade Quarry. I am an exceptionally experienced Commander on SoR, TC, and JQ. I can run any Borderlands without question. I have been trained by some of the best Commanders around (including honest to god USMC Marines). However I do need training on EB and EotM (this is not an exaggeration). I am also an experienced MMO and PvP player with skills and experience beyond the average player. Saying that, I do acknowledge there are players better than me.

I am looking for a server willing to give me a “test run” where I Command a WvW group for 3-5 hours at a time for 2-4 times a week. Optimal times are as follows:

Sun: 0730-1030 am (Central US)
Mon-Tues: 2330-?? (Central US) running until 0700 max
Wed/Thur: 1400-?? (Central US) running for 3-8 hours tops

Fri to Sun morning is bad for me due to my current work schedule (24 hours of work in a 32 hours time span). Outside of that region, I have a good deal of play room.

I am willing to run with as few as five-ten players on average. That is where I started and my level of play after 3 months lead to 30-100 players following me, multiple server wide reputation, and top end Commanding leading to wins when we were outnumbered.

Give me 10+ players who will consistently follow me when I Command and I can make a difference. That is my promise.

All of that said, what is my personal Commitment Level?

Once past the first month of growing pains, if I find a home where I can log in 2-5 times a week at specific times and find people willing to follow me I will Command for you for at least 3 months. Possibly longer.

So, if you can give me 10+ players willing to follow me for at least 3+ months, for at least 3 days a week, I will Command for you and make a difference. Give me a home and I will give you victory.

All of that said, please note the following. The best Commanders who have ever trained me are: Green Arrow, Lectel, HEL, and Gaiscioh (SoR) (my home, my heart, and my trainers/instructors).

P.S. I have habits/traits from myself and my old servers. Things like “drunk commander night”, “karaoke karma train sundays”, etc… I will not only murder your foes, but I will also kill your enemies!!

Most people will follow any tag. You wanna make a difference, want a challenge, Go T3 or T4 or even T5 pick the last place server. Tag up, help them get out of last place. You tag up, people will follow. You can be the best tag ever, just up to people’s mood if they wanna follow, and play.

Been playing WvW for a super long time. Only two names that come to mind that could draw a zerg was “grandpa” and “Johnny”. Them two were prob the best drivers I followed and really got some bags with.

If you are willing to pugmand you can try out AR. That’s pretty much the one time slot where we lack a regular commander or have guild groups running. But I’ve had a few guildies tag up during that time on rare occasions and they always end up with a decent size group.

First we need to determine what kind of server you’re looking for. I would probably direct you down the glicko scale to a server that needs help. You may be looking for something a little more active though. So it really depends on how far down you’re willing to go, AR like Puck said is a great server but it is T5-T6 area so it’s certainly not going to be as busy as T3+.

I’d actually suggest Piken in EU with your hours. You’ll get enough bodies following and provide a much-needed extra blue icon on map to deal with other gold servers. We’ve had a ton of bandwagonners lately, so you’ll find EU players short on patience a bit lol.

I watched some new transfers the other day come onto map and start raging because only 20 players were on them. Less than 20 minutes later, same commander was raging that only 15 players were on him .. less than 20 minutes after that 10 players, lol. He quit shortly after that

Most EU players don’t have patience for those who come on and rage. They’ll just go to another map or find something else to do. It’s a game, after all, for most of EU. But prove your worth and you’ll have a relentless and loyal following. The bulk of Piken pugs are from organized guilds and just out playing outside of their guild’s raiding time.

Yeah we are pretty securely placed in T5. We’ll likely end up passing DH sometime soon even though they managed to get a decent amount of glicko points during this stupid golem event. But T5 isn’t nearly as crowded as T3+, specially during those hours.

I have an alt account in T2 and I much prefer the T5 experience. Much better roaming/skirmishing during off hours and then the guild groups and pug blobs come out during primetime.

If the OP is really looking to make an impact he will be much more successful doing so on a T5 server where a 10-15 man groups actions will really be felt. And even in that time frame there is always people to fight. A few of the servers we go up against get the majority of their PPT in that time slot.
