Extreme Lag in Tier 1 - Even without fights
It’s not just tier 1. It’s every tier with more than 20 people on it.
Anet is terribly sorry that you chose the part of the game they care about the least: WvW.
Please learn to grind PvE for the rest of your life, as was intended. Tyvm!

By far, the worst lag I’ve ever experienced.
It’s even worse than the old 20 second in between skill lag.

I don’t think I’ve ever logged this early from WvW before. Especially not on Reset Night.
WvW is currently unplayable. I don’t know if Anet thought this would discourage blobs or not, but it actually makes blobs more viable.
No one can get skills off, so the bigger numbered group default-wins by having more Auto-Attack.

This was the worst lag I’ve ever experienced in GW2. (JQBL)
Just as bad in EBG (YB) tonight.
It was pretty unplayable in t2 at first. Dont know how it is now. I think I know why it is like this though. Its the new stability system. The stack system means its more numbers for the server to keep track of, therefore laggier.
Its not good right now. Running with anything resembling a zerg just causes massive lag, unlike what we have been seeing of late, even when fps and ping are not that bad.

Maybe if you recruited from the lower tier servers it would get better.

Some think it’s the recent patches, where Anet’s servers are bogged down having to track more data due to the new stability changes. Entirely possible. Whatever it is, I hope they can figure it out.

Yeah, no. This was crippling lag in SPAWN. Nowhere near a fight. During a quiet time of day with no fights on the map. Lag to where we couldn’t even take a camp with 3 people because who can use a skill? Dismissing this as a purely zerg problem is amazing incorrect; lag of this magnitude would be the rule instead of the exception it is right now.

And there are still queue’s Meaning people are actually trying to play with this after a week of lag/rubberbanding… I’m so confused with this community, they complain alot on TS/Ingame, but yet keep playing… I’m sure if they’d spam forum like crazy they’d notice it.
It’s not ddos, it’s not us… It got alot worse after the last patch. They clearly just don’t give a kitten about WvW… I don’t see PvE maps lag, vinewrath has alot of people running around, no lag? Ddos would lag that too.

Considering they are using a different server structure, and an entirely new system technology, making it impossible for them to use the same servers for HoT, your post seems extremely uninformed.
Ever since stability patch WvW is EXTREMELY laggy….

Well, as long as they did not purchase more servers (HW), they have to take away resources from the existing ones
If you can show me that they did buy more then okay, but otherwise..
In my experience we have more lag in wvw when they have an spvp tournament/stress test/demo weekend/etc.
It’s been almost 2 weeks since the changes. This is bad, especially for the core population of players that play WvW every day and enjoy the scrims, now it’s just a massive rubberband fest, hoping your skills pop off before you reach your enemy CC and aoe, dodge rolling and spamming 1 is all you can do and kitten sometimes even my lootstick’s infamous 1spam has lag oh and what about being unable to stack properly on your commander because him and everyone else is popping and locking all over the place before you even reach the enemy zerg.
Anet, you’re killing what is left of an already dying part of the game by making us wait so long in anticipation for even a smidgen okittennowledgement about the issue. All that needs to be said is “Hey, we know there’s a problem, looking into it, will let you know what’s being done soon™.” but no, we’re left in the dark.
