Calling all FC wvw players and especially major guild leaders. I am calling a server-wide council of wvw players to take place this Saturday in Lions Arch at 7pm Central.

The purposes of this meeting will be threefold:
1. Discuss tactics and strategies for surviving in this SF dominated world(not that I blame SF)
2. Set up server forums and voice comms to benefit all of our wvw players
3. Allow each guild to give a short speech about why new players should come to them

Why not?

Because we tried it a while ago and it did not end well, plus, some people on FC just do not want it to happen.

Ah, that’s unfortunate. It would at least go a long way toward making the tier competitive and fun for you guys. I realize a number of people irrationally consider such behavior underhanded, but especially given the situation it would probably be best for all involved.

At least 1 representitive of the BS nite crew Commanders will be there. Ill try my best to get Sir Mix and myself there to.

id like to bring up the recent burst of ET nite crew, as insanemaniac may already know its been difficalt to stop there 40+ man terror runs at US 3-4 am.

for us Aussie players (and because im lazy) what time is that in GMT/AUS time if you know?)

I am not from your server but just wanted to suggest you have it someplace else other than LA to avoid overflow’s, like one of the racial cities.

Overflow? What’s that? I know i’ve heard that name back on Blackgate, but i can’t really remember what it is…

Good luck with this guys, having a unified community can really improve your WvW situation, as well as make things more fun and friendly all around.

Good timing as well, if you can get voice comms set up, and a WvW community going BEFORE the patch hits, any new players that come back online to check things out will be far more likely to actually stay on board.

Good Luck with this, the voice com thing and insisting that your players get on in order to know what is going on will be huge for your response times. Whatever happens dont get discouraged, change will not happen overnight. I truly wish it was possible for others to come and share knowledge with you, things like open-field combat, communication, siege/counter siege, sabotage,,,etc getting new ideas about this stuff would make you all so much more effective. Here’s hoping you have a nasty surprise in store for SF soon, make their life interesting I think they need it. ;-)

I know it might not happen for a while, but I really will miss some of my ET/FC friends when we move up. Most of you are class acts, and with all the frustration of this match-up you guys really do keep your heads up and fight with honor. (Trust me, I am frustrated about this match-up and I am on the green team. I can only imagine the frustration on red/blue.)

Good luck with the meetings, hopefully there is a way of telling if someone from another server is guesting into your meeting.

That is why we may move the meeting to hotm or wvw

It was clear that ET wanted a truce with FC, not so much an alliance.

But like most peace talks, ego, pride and drama tore it asunder. Human nature, no one person to blame, just the nature of war and games I guess.

i would spam this at LA FC to get more ppl to attend rather than just post here. there are still alot of different guilds out there that could possibly help benefit FC.

Idalia just posted a Teamspeak server for us. the IP is ts67.light-speed.com: 7520. This may help us for the upcoming meeting. Hey, it’s my very first post. Muahaha!

Oops, I wasn’t very clear. Some kind souls have paid for a ts server for FC. The dedicated server is listed in my post. We’ve already started discussing some points on there. That’s one issue that has already been addressed. Please be patient with me while I get used to this.

I gota say i am acctully realy pumped for this! not just for the meeting but getting to meet all the other commanders/players heavely involved in WvW.

A suggestion b4 we get to the meeting, we should compile a a list of points to discuss previous to the meeting. Some of my points are:

- Coverage times, where we lack and what we can do to help this? E.G. put a guild/couple of guilds in charge of a time frame (just a suggestion).

- Similar meetings held regularly. E.G. monthly. Also a TS system to be used for this and in WvW cross Guild chat. Each guild has there own but a commander chat would be nice?

- Recruitmant drive into FC and placement of new GW2 WvWers into guilds appropriate for there WvW time/availability. Setup a FC Website/forum as suggested b4

I have several plans right now and if no one objects I am going to present some pretty radical ideas at the meeting, and yes, we should have these meetings monthly.
