New week, new game! No Germans but some French!

I myself did enjoy the reset quite a bit, Fighting the FR massiv zerg and holding our ground til 5 am, then moving onto EB and play with the UW.

My teeth hurts! Not because I got them kicked in last night tho.

Thus far the matchup seems very even, I totally approve of this

We’ve never been in the lead on Saturday before.

We never left, last week we were just on standby :p

As i said last week a lot of the Commanders and Regulars was off for work and other Rl stuff as myself.

But been some fun fights, now we just rest of our WvW comunity to crawl out of hiding. Fighting on EB eariler with both Frenchies and UWs hitting us

Finally,people that know how to play Fair again,Uw -Fr – Fs is gonna be a fun week

im so generous with my cheering i even gave a few /cheer to the opposition :O

ummm yeah the reason this thread is so cheerful in it only far shiverpeaks using it, with the one (now two) UW player.

It’s nice to see borderlands aren’t sterile places anymore, all three borders are real warzones

Ye had a really nice time on the french borderland with TG, Blos, GoT, GUM and all the other guilds that participated today (13-1), Very nice fights, french had a huge resistance at garrison! Keep it up everyone.

I gotta say I was really impressed with FS execution of the UW Bay capture. We managed to leave 2 mesmers inside, and port a 25 man zerg after they left. We were still building our 3rd ram when they appeared and portal bombed us to seven hells. Took them under a minute, impressive. And after that, they figured our mesmer hiding tactic right away, and even successfully blocked it for 2 hours-ish, until the mesmers left. Kudos.

Wow… the fights have been fun al around… one thing also popped up which I haven’t seen some time… all .. yes ALL borderlands were full last night..!!

A short, very short, report of yesterday’s GoT guild event.

At 19.30 our brave soldiers stood ready in the FR borderlands, happy to see so many of our fellow non-GoT’ers were already playing ball with le French!

We fielded a strong guild team and made our way to hills, after a nice skirmish in front of the inner north gate we broke through into the lord lord, which we entered by means of mesmer transportation. A ton of numbers, bodies and cheers on TeamSpeak followed. We took the keep!

A few minute of pesky mesmer sweeps later, we cleared it. Thereafter began the fun game of capping the upper east tower, and sieging up garrison. We had many good fights in front of those doors with FR. While on the other side of the map our allies kept pushing.

We had tons of fun and great fights. Thanks for a wonderful evening, and we will see you on the battlefield.

I knew it! I had left by then, but the two dead mesmers in our bay that wouldn’t WP-revive was just making my “TROUBLE” senses go off left and right ;p

Well done though, couldn’t figure out where you guys were

haha yeah there’s a lot of folks that will always take any mesmer portal they see, or even wait at the starting pad when the end pad hasn’t been placed yet.
Yesterday I brought my nab mesmer to WvW the first time and when we did a quick run to recap and stock up on supply while sieging up bay, I placed the starting pad on top of the hill so we could all port back as one group faster after capping (the lord had his buff).
When I looked over my shoulder during the boring fight I noticed 10’ish people not jumping down but standing waiting for the portal to go up so I placed the end pad anyways :s

To the FR thief I just had a 10 minute long 1v1 with at Godsword supply camp in FSP bl map (in case you read this), I just wanted to say awesome fight!
I don’t normally like 1v1 but, that was so much fun, I could get addicted to it…even though you did win in the end :-)

Phew! We just held FR Garrison and Bay for 2 hours, even had Hills for a short while (as Cryphar already pointed out). Dunno how much longer we will hold Bay, but had some really awesome fights in there! I cannot explain how much I enjoyed ninja-capping Hills right from under FS noses. See you next time! <3

by the way, GUM tried to stealth-cap that Garrison like 10 times during those 2 hours… sorry guys, but the attempts were beyond ridiculous xD

we only wanted for one of our guildies to get the vista (he didnt get it, but us other 3 made it that far)
was fun however how you kept sending about 15 people after the 4 of us, guess the french will have to thank us :P
we did however ninja hills back after FR took it.

the number inballance is starting to take its toll on us UW’ers you can kill 10 of FS and you wont even see a difference, that alone would be ok, but all you guys do is Treb tower open rack up a giant zerg and cap it.

It works i suppose but it takes forever, Langor must have been 40 + of you taking 2 hours.

With those numbers avaiable you should be able to cap stuff much quicker.

The good thing is my kill count skyrocked, and badges pile up in bank, i surley hope theres some nice stuff to buy with the new patch in feb.

And with those numbers and those tactics we can be in multiple places on the same map at the same time, and apply pressure, it’s brilliant.

I think somebody @ FS uses macro’s to shoot the treb….. this morning FS used the treb @ SM on Durios. After all the walls where down it was not FS taking Durios but FR.
(After 5 min or so)

with 4 towers to treb and not allways multiple commanders online, we often have 1 zerg trying to cap say klovan when we get the news of durios being open aswell. takes a while to get all over to the other side, when anza is under attack aswell. i’ve seen towers open for far longer then 5 minutes.

It was 5 o’clock in the morning. And still u kept using the treb on Durios. Loosing Ogrewatch and Pangloss in the progress. And still after breaking down our walls+door u didn’t came.
And yes it was more then 5 min.
I stood there 5 min just watching the treb shooting @ the same spot over and over again when FR came with there organized squad to cap it.

I don’t like the treb tactic from SM, but it is part of the game.

But u guys constantly trebbing Quentin/Durios 4 the “fun” is just lame imo.

Nice video! I was pleasantly surprised to see myself a few times in it, although most of my fights were the kind where i was running around with lots of dudes after me (those old Benny Hill movies come to mind).
Anyways, welcome to Far Shiverpeaks, i`m sure a lot of people are really happy to have you guys around. I wish you a pleasant stay

We gotta keep our veteran trebbers in shape and train some new ones in the process
I haven’t been in WvW this week all that much yet and when I was I was very tired due to crazy busy times at work but I don’t think our guys / gals would do it just for fun, we might be doing it to keep them open at all times because we consider them ours or to distract some of you guys who aren’t aware yet we had been trebbing for so long, I don’t know. But for fun? Nah firing a treb at same position gets old pretty fast when it comes to the fun factor.

Well if we don’t treb durios from SM and keep it vulnerable, you will start trebbing SM from durios
Having the walls down even if we can’t take it is very useful, it makes you people either repair it, or abandon it and not build trebs there at all.

Your guild is good, had a run in with you guys at our Bl yesterday. Until you left to do some other things.

Was around hills, good tactics but we managed to keep you stalled.

It is always great to see a server growing/learning.

Yesterday I saw a fs zerg in our bl (ab)using culling to there advantage. Also trying to distract us from defending by doing “fake” attacks on other places.

I sometimes get the feelling that our bl is used as training grounds for FS.

For me this week was a fight between FS and UW.

FR felt like an annoying musquito buzzing arround my head.

That golem rush kitten our borders pretty hard there ^^

Golem rushes are funny
