Fioravante-Fort Aspenwood, D/D Elementalist and a Warrior.

It’s been 662 days since Meow formed in Guild Wars 2. I remember when I first came in WvW and asked about which guild I should join back in 2012 August and a friend has asked Phill to invite me into Meow and it had 350 people, the last 2 weeks it only had 28 people that are active. WvW has grown rather stale for a lot of us and with that, Meow is over. I’m sure a lot of people from PPT-Heroes will be happy and BGs.
It is rather sad to look at my friend list and only see a small portion of it barely still plays.

-Last Light, no I’m not quitting and no I’m not joining your guild.

Shame that people keep burning out. People need to take breaks, and come back, and not play GW2 like a job (which is rather hard when you are competitive).
Best of luck to you, who still play. Go out and just have fun.
Thanks for the fights MeoW from all the GC guys. Was a pleasure fighting a great guild both open field on BG and in gvgs. Hopefully we see each other on another game in the future.
Good luck, and have fun in whatever new games you’re heading to. I’ll try not to hold a grudge against you for the times you guys ganked me when I was trying to catch up to the zerg.
I heard the new guild is called “fosters” australian for beer.
Fosters is the kitten beer we export…

I think nearly 2 years playing the same game isn’t as much of burnout as it is players finding other games that excite them more. No reason to be married to one game (although I still am for some reason).

Well if Anet did some form of updates for WvW that actually gave new content that we wanted we would see a lot less burnout. Fixing the little things like bugs goes a long way. Adding a new map would keep those guilds thinking of quitting from quitting.
Yet another guild defeated by Anet’s WvW policies
Thanks for the good fights Meow over the past 3-4 months.
cant blame you, the player exodus has been going on throughout the game, in most every guild and server. Seasons and megaserver, anet wrecking their product with both chambers.

I concur, I’m in T1, and every time I’ve walked into WvW in the past 2 weeks, we’ve always had the outnumbered buff, every map. The only exception is K-train Friday.
I remember the days on reset night you’d literally wait 3-4 hours for ques; now none of the maps are qued 2hrs after reset.
Even in PvE, megaservers and all, I’m really surprised to see most of the maps I’m in completely desolate.
Who?
Would be cool if the remnants of Meow moved back to their ancestral home NSP.
is Fidd still playing GW2 ? i know Phil still is.

How I wish Anet would take your comment to heart.
They may have China for now, but they won’t forever when the players know that they will not get any support…
its hard not to burn out in wvw. i mean i used to like it a lot but its just so hard to get pumped for it. especially if the times you come on are met w/ utter silence and not a soul from your server is in sight… i mean wvw used to be epic but now it feels more like a desk job XD. what happened to the battle royales in the middle of sm castle? what happened to the total chaos on the battlefield? eh just my thoughts though lol
