Fast Response System For Reports
And if they added something “immediate”, the amount of faulty bans will most likely increase quite a bit.
The current system at least have somewhat of a fail-safe in that they are monitored for some time before being banned (in most cases).
As for point three that is completely out of bound. Players should NEVER get the power of admins, because no matter how much you check on them there will be people that will use it in a bad way.

I never said they gain any actual power its kinda like league of legends tribunal system except theres still admins no non arenanet person(s) would gain a ban hammer. the players merely monitor the admins in a non intrusive or obstructing manner if they see misconduct they report to the admins boss who handles it at his/her discretion
though I do agree there would be a rise in faulty bans as the system is tested and possibly implemented due to things being figured out. alternately the admins could be given a temporary ban hammer with a selection of amount of time for a player to be removed from playing with the max being 24 hours and more severe infractions can be dealt with by the regular system. while the admins handle more immediate issues like wall exploits and trolling by burning supply

So basically the players get the ability to report admins they don’t like (and based on these forums it is not unlikely that people would report them just for the sake of them working for ArenaNet) and thus creating extra work for the admin admins?

I still like my own suggestion (of course) of servers self-policing. If you see someone exploiting and you do not report it, and another server sees exploiting and reports it and it’s indeed proven that there is exploiting going on or has occurred, the entire server is disqualified from the season and gets no rewards.
I really dislike people who stoop to trolling map chat, dropping needless siege, exploiting through walls, etc. It really makes it seem like the only way to win is to use these underhanded tactics, and the honest people get the penalty. Seems much like the real world.

the self policing idea sounds good but where would the proof come from? and with the current lag time between reporting someone and something being done wouldn’t the cheating server just continue running rampant?

this is true angry players would report admins for perceived infractions on theirs and Anet’s part but I suppose my initial idea relies a tad too much on people acting properly for the interest of the whole instead of their own whims. I suppose another change could be partitioning this system within the current support system to only handle immediate issues i.e. trolling(dropping dumb siege & supply burning), wall exploits and leaving all other issues (bugs, gold sellers, etc.) to the regular support system. What do ya think?
Your proposal involves much more work (and thus, money) than Anet is willing to put into WvW.
The fact that the “report” UI doesn’t include any useful options (in terms of exploiting) shows that they actually don’t really care enough about people exploiting to do anything about it.
that’s the point we need to show them we want changes made so we can enjoy the game fully. if they didn’t follow what the entire gw2 community wants they wouldn’t make money
