what is the fastest way to gain xp for rank up in www in a sqaud party or solo play ?

Sadly the fastest way to gain WvW isn’t even in WvW it is ktraining eotm with boosters

NOTHING beats wiping zergs on a build with lots of AoE spam.
It’s just more consistent running EoTM laps.. and easier

Technically the fastest way is to beg ANET to make things more convenient. Not EOTM or fighting.

I’d say the most important part off leveling up is for the wvw skill line, the rewards are minimal at best… This may be his aim.

Its not as important any more as you think. They removed the vit + and dmg + from npc stacks. There always going to be some one there that has the lines level up for siege so… its just not that important for new players.

Pick and join a decent guild, use a celebration booster on reset while in EBG. You’ll be blown away by how fast you gain ranks and tracks.

I hate to say it but it’s either EOTM train; whack on all your boosters and away you go OR as Tongku stated – EBG reset.

Things tend to flip fast in EOTM as opposed to WvW but at least you get good fights/guilds doing WvW…. unless you like roflstomping uplevel pug k-trainers in the sandpit that is edge. Up to you.

try participate in large Blob fights as much as possible, with some good AoE class, and bunker build to survive long. full nomad Guardian + Staff #1, if u really want milk cow, goes FULL NOMAD, its costs some gold, and trinkets is on LS2 achievments. a backpiece from Maudrey. Sometimes i got a entire level in just one fight.

I used the Demon Summon sigil is funny as hell in these fights too. gosta insta 25 stacks.

Log on during off hours (heavily depends on opposing activity as well) or thursday/friday before reset. Usually best if you have some friends.

It’s actually better when your own server is weak because it’ll be easy to recapture your own lost things, and most likely the opposing forces are trying to k-train your stuff and thus will turn a blind eye.

And of course the competition is softer. Generally groups that run pvd in off-hours aren’t used to fighting actual players.

Roaming is the fastest. Do not care about others, switch constantly camps, tower and sentrys, destroy dolyaks. I run from time to time in Zerg, but there is not so much progress.

I agree here. I pop in for dailies first popping boosters while roaming. While in queue I flip camps, down guards, Dolyaks and whatever will make use of my booster. Seems I can get more XP this way since it is constant and not struggling to build and getting pushed back.

For those not in the know, get your 30 min WvW boosters with laurels at the NPC if you are cheap like me and don’t want to waste gems. The gem ones are better but eh..

Then I go to zergs but the past two weeks there hasn’t been much to zerg so map to map flipping what I can and joining up with other roamers flipping what we can.

Edge of the Mists, XP buffs (candy corn gobbler is a must have), the 24 hour WvW XP buff from a guild hall that can provide it, and a good commander.

I always found that once one of the experience boosters taken, the fastest way to level is to do what you enjoy the most and what brings you the most satisfaction. If you are not a fan of zergs and the large skill fights or just running around in EOTM on a Karma train , your experience inflow might seem tedious meaning you will get bored sooner and log out. You might feel the same way about roaming or small scale fights.

If you are doing something you like to do you will spend more time at it and gaining levels as you do so just becomes an added reward. Time spent is a relative thing.

doesn’t matter in squad or solo, as long as you keep capturing high wxp structure like keep…. you can follow zerg and not be in the squad and gain as much wxp as those in the squad…

Watch game of throne first before hop in wvw, this trick enhanced my desire to fight in war zone since 10 months ago.

Except use Celestial gear instead if you got the time/gold outlay. Nomad’s may actually not be enough damage for you to tag things before they die…with Nomad’s you are relying on your team you are grouped with to collectively do enough damage to tag targets which isn’t always feasible for random side things like Veteran Guards.

tell Anet you’re a top tier pveer. Proceed to complain how it’s unfair and too difficult to get ranks in wvw. they will dumb down wvw even more with this method in a couple weeks.

hEnce, wvw player have no problem having 3k + wvw rank, while players who play wvw only for the new rewards have some… seems legit to me.

As a primarily pve player, I am totally okay with this.

repair a lot of walls

If you kill a lot of players, really a lot of players and with booster on, you actually can level up faster than merely going around capping things. However, to really kill players, not just you but also your entire server population must be committed to do it. Committed means gear up, get good and get in voip.
