I personally wanted us to go to hills, but I am just being a sentry because I’ve procrastinated my college work too much again.
FA’s defenses are really strong there, having repelled a BG wave and TC wave at Bay.
(at the moment I’m posting this, I’m hoping you guys still have the mindset of having a lord’s room bloodbath)

9/10 — first time participants are always welcome. Good selection of background and tasteful accentuation of one’s own features. The choice of scoreboard placement makes it easy for viewers to clearly interpret the score as it stands, and does not detract from the overall presentation. The addition of a map is an often overlooked feature that rounds everything out nicely.

One point was subtracted because the veteran guard in the background is highlighted, which distracts the eye. NPCs should blend into the background in future images, as they are ultimately part of the backdrop, not the ‘main course’.

The lack of proper siege feng shui would have lost you another point if not for the presence of the asura Eek Kee. His name — clearly an onomatopoeia expressing shock and embarrassment — pairs well with his actions, as he rapidly averts his eyes away from your bare form.

Regardless of where the week and the score leads us, this has been an enjoyable reset weekend and its nice that we can have such a fair matchup at least in N/A. If we had had to keep this going for a couple weeks, I’d have been perfectly happy even in third place. Cheers BG and FA.

Having a ton of fun fighting against TC on our (Blackgate) borderlands! You guys are persistent, I love it.

I’m curious … do you guys on Blackgate think we’ve improved at all since we last met?

Its really hard to say for a couple reasons but I will say it appears so.

BG is not the BG you fought a month ago, they probably think they are and some haven’t changed but a lot have. My guess is they think the more passive ( defensive) style is better after adopting it in T1 weekdays mostly. I and a few others run with everyone and anyone pretty much 24/7, we look for the good fights on all maps with all commanders constantly trying to be where it seems there’s action offensive or defensive as well as running yaks or dumping seige if needed.

This gives a few of us an “outside looking in” perspective and I’m guessing the better question is " Are we the same BG you faced in T1?" I was just in a double wipe @ Ascension Bay and I was sort of thinking some folks may need some rest, they sound tired in Teamspeak to the point of needing a break from the game. I did run with ICoA today and it was pretty fun, we had some Hills battles that were pretty organized and actually held off a large number of FA for awhile pretty short handed. I would say ICoA has improved and gotten more funtional and aggressive since our ( BG-TC) last meeting so its really tough to get a clear picture.

HB, Thai, EA and others seem to still rock and roll for points/wins

FA, we need to play better and smarter, we need to stop playing like the other servers are mindless zergs because i’m personally embarassed to get rolled with more numbers than them on our own bl because they used the proper sieging tactics and defenses. I know we can do better than this, because if we don’t start playing like the other servers know what they’re doing, this week will be a blowout.

This is the drawback of getting a lot of player, Zergs are zergs. I’ve played against FA before the merge with IoJ and I saw some incredible skills and great tactics (same can be said for the IoJ players before the merge). After the merge, I’ve noticed a sudden decrease in the average player skill. Not that players are bad, but having a large population does that: join the Karma train, run pressing 1 and get your kill…attack that tower, no need to think, just attack….EVERY server that outman the others in their match up fall for this and FA is no different.

FA is comming from tier 3 and have fallen to the zerg mentality. I honestly don’t know how the match are played in tier 1 since they all have a tremendous amount of people and all 24/7 coverage. Is there zerg tactic or is it only that numbers + coverage = wins period? So FA arrives to Tier 2 after a couple of week of easy wins and face servers with similar population and coverage….I’m sure FA will make a come back at some point during this week. Right now it seems it’s only the confusion of not roflstomping everything by sheer numbers.

After a couple of days getting beat up by smaller groups, I expect FA to let the zerg mentality go and play smart again

Don’t take this post as an insult guys, it’s just what it is. TC roflstomped everyone in tier 3 2 months ago and I wasn’t impressed by their skills. But their game got better as they faced server that have way more people than them. The same is and will be happening to FA. Welcome to tier 2….for this week at least until the match up balance themselves again after the reset lol

Keep playing to have fun, remember, behind every red name there is a human being that is just like you. Keep it classy and respect your oponents.

I’ve haven’t seen so many words saying so little since we were in a tier with SoR.

To answer TC. We’ve been in Tier 1 for three weeks, and seen quite a few new things. However, I will say that no one controls supply on a map like TC. Sure you guys have weaknesses, like all servers do, but that is a great strength.

We all say you Garnished Toast are in love with your yaks.

As for FA, you are for sure tenacious, and a few nice open field tactics. Its been fun. We are totally not using you as practice for when we go back to Tier 1. Totally not at all. :P

Either way, I had the opportunity to manage the resistance against TC, and FA early this afternoon with a handful of my guild mates and the great support from our BGBL community. We had a blast, and made back some ground for the short time I was on.

Great effort from HOPE up by Sunnyhill, had me on my toes.

That’s great. I already reported 4-5 people for slander/libel/defamation of character. Usually I wouldn’t bother except my closing argument that would have made all right was infracted so now I have to take what should be unnecessary measures for the sake of justice and preserving the innocence of the uneducated. But besides the point me cracking you up is out of context with BG/TC/FA. If you wish to libel me make another thread to do so. It will make reporting you more convenient for me.
