Lol, we are, our objective was to get such a big weekend lead to drive them off coming out in such force. Going good, but its more up to CDs off hours ppl. If they rally not much we can do without the numbers then.

Not sure why we would want FA and DB tbh though, been there and its not competitive.

Got to agree with Pendragon, our (YB) lead will be whittled away by CD’s night crew as the week progresses & our weekend warriors return to PvE. Short of further massive transfers or a tier 3 worthy server being discovered in the lower tiers Maguuma 2.0 is very unlikely to ever have a rematch with EBay as you are just to big for tier 4.

Maguuma 2.0 doesn’t exist anymore. It lasted exactly 3 weeks and then they all transferred off.

Yeah, we’re not fielding large numbers anymore, because not that many of the transfers wanted to play on Maguuma. They wanted to play on the winning server. Check our history. Maguuma is not a winning server. We just had a run of stomping dead servers that were falling down the rankings because everyone ditched them.

Some OG vs Echo guild and pro guild today. Good fights. Not sure how many Echo guild had, 15+ for sure. We where running.. a 7 man? Wasnt able to get any screenies of our fights echo guild my apologies.

Here’s our oceanic presence: Our boarderlands, and Eternal. Only they aren’t oceanic players. They’re NA players than happen to play in the day time. All 30 of us for both maps. This lasts for 8 hours or so at a time. With breaks to do pve, because we’re used to being out-numbered to a point where it’s not worth wasting time, and money, on the match at that hour. That’s it in a nutshell.

Hopefully FA gets to fight Kaineng so they know how ridonculous the oceanic presence can get over here. It totally defeats the purpose WvWing.

We’re up kitten creek no matter what we do because if we stay in this tier we get slaughtered, and if we go down a tier, we dominate. We haven’t had an even match in months.

I don’t know what all this chatter is about on the forums. It’s the same thing forever: “I beat up 3 of you guys vs just me. LOL”, and the counter “Look at the score. LOL”.

Kick it up a notch: “I spiked you as Dolyak and here’s the pic/video!”

Maguuma players play for the comic gold (stolen from Ari, I think) moments. That’s it. It’s really only the people that buy the upgrades, or play until they’re too tired to play anymore, that get angry about the game. I mean, those are the only times I get grouchy. (And lag spikes.)

Was some very good fights against OG. I think at that time we had 7 of us plus PRO guys swirling around. I didn’t get any screens either, was too busy cycling everything I had.

We got pinched pretty hard by you guys and Dragonbrand there.

Sorry to smash you but you’re wrong. Look at the last week matchup against Tc/BG/FA.
We had all maps on que and about 70-80% of the time we had less ppt against them during primetime. we obviously weren’t doing a good job.

ps i consider primetime 7pm -midnight EST

What is with the FA chest thumping when coming down to T3 where this tier obviously has less population than us in wvw. I’m pretty sure everyone already knew the outcome of this matchup so to go around chest thumping for a win that doesnt mean much is somewhat childish. FA is not prepared to go back to t2, FA has the same population size as TC, but TC does a better job, only one explaination for that, but people don’t wanna hear it.

exactly what i mean, ignorance from these FA forum warriors. look at reset, Maguuma OBVIOUSLY has a better primetime when all maps are que. People are saying look at the score and ppt 2-3days later but dont realize that maguuma has to flip back towers/keeps that has been fortified to t3 and can field maps easily. You would be ignorant to say that we don’t hit full ques on all four maps almost daily.

You know whats really embarassing that i saw on a daily basis? going to BL where we held keeps and it only having 3 siege built over the course of 3hours until we were either attacked and forced to build more or we got mawed over, and even when the keep became paper gates, we would have a hard time flipping it back because enemy server laid down 6-8siege on keep. FA was doing things like this all the time during its time in T2

This is extremely embarassing for a t2 server, Worst server i’ve ever been on, and i’ve been on a few.

They want to talk about how skilled and great they are but obviously they can’t hang and when they get beat they run here and whine about how they got zerged.. tell them to go SPvP if they want “fair and balanced” match ups and they whine because SPvP is boring.. they basically want their cake and eat it too. Even if you beat them with a smaller force they cry about it, they basically want to keep changing the rules until it favors them. It’s no wonder they wanna sandbag it and go back down… So they can redevelop their false sense of superiority.

DB on the other hand has given some great match ups both small and large.

This would all be fixed if they would separate reigns. Nc soft and Anet just don’t know how to make games very well.

Total annihilation and we aren’t even through the weekend. Let’s see, working overtime, huge ultra massive homework load, getting up for church on sunday, I can’t think of any other excuses. Sitting on your friday glory and thinking that is enough even though it collapsed once our longterm plans kicked in.

Fun duels OG

I was the sylvari staff mesmer from PRO in the quaggan backpack. Pretty tired and only came to watch originally, so sat out a lot of the open field “brawling” that started. Still got some nice 1v1s in though.

I had fun duels. Even though I was obliterated (I really should make a duel spec. heh. Support builds not so good in 1v1.)

Have you even been to the FA community website? The thoughts there echo your own sentiments exactly (albeit in a constructive, not negative, way). Ignore the FA forum warriors here, their opinions mean little to nothing. Real discussion happens on the servers website, where we know our place and are committed to improving for a shot at T2 again. The link is in Mif’s signature if you missed it.

Convince people on our server (Mag) that WvW is not a one-night-event. I also believe that one of Maguumas biggest problems with having a stable WvW crew is guilds spam LA for recruiting for WvW but they don’t even WvW.

I’d love to. I just don’t know where our people are. Every time I’m on Mag BL which is typically in serious kitten, we have no Commander. Hard to rally people who aren’t on mumble without it.

I find funny that some people feel good about their servers when their only job is to stay inside of a huge zerg and hit their head on the keyboard to win

I think is a much better experience to be the server with less people than the rest and have specific jobs during fights..

People who just jump into a zerg to spam skills ain’t getting better at this.. but if they only care about the general score well good for you.. you will win but you won’t get better at this.. that’s for sure :P

Well my theory is that our public peeps have joined the wrong guilds for WvW. Not going to name and shame one notorious BL/LA spam recruiter. But I don’t even see that guy leading his people around. And he is usually in the jp when he is in WvW. Whereas I know there’s really five to ten guilds (d|erp, evoh, goa (when promethius is able to organize) WaR, Pyro, Trim, RMNT, SM and some others I may not be thinking of) that have a way more WvW oriented populace. Those are the guilds that should build up. Because it’s easier to teach people what needs to be done in WvW that way.

Though not all of the listed guilds use public mumble. They all have their own voice chat servers, and are willing to communicate with other guilds. So getting people into those guilds would be healthy for our server.

Shout out to these guys. Thank you for acting as opposition for us a few times. Flipping camps isn’t fun without some people to fight.

DFND, NOVA, SAnD, HKHS, and lately EK outside of EB.

While we can list 10 some odd guilds that are in wvw nightly, none of them have more than 10-15 active people if that at a time. Maguuma doesn’t have a BT, PRO, NNK. Just a hodgepodge of smaller guilds that work together(for the most part).

I would like to, but the community has already rubbed off in bad way to me, so i would rather not go there. I just came here to speak my opinions and why this chest thumping is necessary, people are saying skills, but coverage has 80% to do with everything, (not speaking to you directly) because if you want real skills look at reset night, Maguuma played extremely good, holding SM for 3hours i believe? yes SM flipped back n forth but after the turmoil i think they had it for 3hours.

People don’t handle critiques very well here. I don’t post on forums much anymore, but lately its been irritating when i come and read nonsense.

Why are you so mad about a video game? Who cares if we win/don’t win. Or people do irritating things. It’s all about having fun.

Personally I don’t seek e-glory by winning T2, or going to T1. It’s not important to me. I just want to log in and WvW with my guild and have a good time. We wipe, we wipe people, We take keeps, we lose them. But almost always everybodys in TS in a good mood having a good time.
