Feedback - 400 Hero Points per Elite spec
so… I have a rather large excess of WvW ranks.. from reading this it sounds like I can cash those in plus badges for Hero Points… Where?
No. All previous WvW levels do not help you with Hero Points. Badges yes but you need a lot of new WvW levels before you can expend them. Enjoy the grind to get some skills/traits you might not even like.

Nope. Only ranks gained post Expac will give you these new fangled Heroic proofs or whatever they are called. The badges you have stockpiled though can be cashed in as you said.
I only play WvW. I have only waypoints for dungeons since WvW wasn’t self-sustaining. I have 9 mains, little to none hero points on any them. I have to do a lot of grind, if it’s not PvE then a karma-train, which no one (except national servers x.x) can be bothered to do after 3 years of playing WvW, and that’s extremely discouraging. I’m out of words, really.
Either make WvW ranks retroactive, meaning that you can convert the excess of WvW ranks we veterans have into HP (at a good rate, like 1 rank=1 HP) . This would still discourage new WvW-players though and that wouldn’t help this almost dead gamemode. OR give us access to our specialisations in WvW, like you did for the PvP-gamemode.
