I decided to change my OP to say if anyone from Kain or Ferg would like to post about the WvW that is going on please do if you don’t want to listen to the other thread that was started. Anyhow DR try and refrain from posting hehe

Hey now, DR isn’t the server that uses copious amounts of Golems to take Keeps, nor are they the server that camps in the EB puzzle for hours on end.

Not that either of those things are bad (for me). By all means, continue wasting time and resources.

All it would take is for a group of about 20 of the really good DR people to transfer over and whatever server they transfer to… well, they probably wouldn’t win, but they’d start being a legitimate pain in DR’s keester.

Not that I think either Kain or Ferg are bad players, don’t get me wrong. It’s just that there seem to be a lot more brilliant strategists on DR. It would be more balanced if they moved over.

Trust me, no one likes fighting a battle with overwhelming odds on either side. Well, except me. I actually quite enjoy trying to hold my own in a torrent of enemies. It doesn’t work, but I still have fun.

Keep it up, guys! Show DR who’s boss!

haha lol that made me laugh. I wrote this post right after I watched all the work in EB go to waste (so i was a little heated and then seeing the posts in our forum for WvW by DR made me mad) but all in all its been alot of fun fighting (at least in our home ferg map and even in EB before the wave of DR hehe). We just finished chasing out everyone in ferg map and now have a firm hold on it again it was alot of fun. Maybe one of these days we will be able to have that in 2 maps and then 3 and 4 but thats way down the line.

Anyhow I hope Kain you are able to do the same on your home map chase those DR out keep it blue and Ferg keep up the great work in our home map we kicked $@%!

I gave up on EB last week, pointless.

I just don’t understand why the KAIN guild keeps invading us, and today WAR came in with a good 20+. Shouldn’t we be focusing on the same bunch? Us in Ferg only have enough for one map. Not complaining, just got the 10k wvw kill achievement a bit ago and already at 10500. I try and keep as many fergs away as possible from Kain side.

I’ll tell you why I keep coming to your Borderland.

I don’t want to give Devona the satisfaction of fighting in their borderland or EB where they have superior numbers, or our borderland where they can easily call everyone to attack us due to a grudge.

In Ferg’s Borderland, Devona is on a defensive disadvantage. Kaineng is also on a defensive disadvantage, but I can deal with it. I’d rather give Ferg the defensive advantage because if Devona decides to swarm your borderland, they’d have to run into both of us if they want to take points over.

I no longer look at the bigger picture because there’s no way either of us are going to bypass Devona’s score, no matter what we do. I’d rather just play the game for what it is, take a keep/tower and see how long I can hold it before it gets taken away from me. I’m not in your lands to take all your stuff, but I want specific stuff. And I want to play where I won’t run into Devs to deny them the satisfaction of playing WvW against me.

After all, we play WvW to fight others, not to stand at a tower all day bored. I’m giving you guys something to do in your borderland.

I am from Devona’s Reach and have been since I started playing before I even knew there were rankings. When I discovered the rankings I laughed and turned to the non-gamers behind me and explained how apparently I randomly happened to have chosen the last place server out of the last place groups of 3. Then I have slowly watched it swing entirely in the opposite direction.

I Joined [RED] a few weeks ago and have loved every minute of it. We are all there for the fun of it. We have a competitive side, but it has always been about fun and community, with server pride being there but not the main focus (and our commander enjoys leading us off cliffs that will kill us.)

At some point guilds started transferring in yes, but I have noticed a change in the commanders we have had (not just my guild). They have all learned better techniques and better ways to manage groups and to communicate. So really I think the learning and adapting put us on par with your servers, the transfer are what put us over. Glad to be moving up after being stomped back then, but sad to see an even, fun fight become a slaughter.

I was on EB tonight when our group went from owning 1/3 of it to owning the entire map. There was practically no resistance. We never saw a single Ferg group and there was only one group of Kaineng that tried to fight back and it was maybe 15 unorganized people. That makes me sad. I don’t know if you’ve all given up or what but this time last weekend there were people everywhere!

Here’s to hoping we move up so that both of us can get what we want. I just hope the server that replaces us is not going to be one that stomps you too. They are a tier above us for a reason so be prepared.

P.S. Every server has its pricks and they tend to be the most vocal. Don’t cast that onto the whole server. Actually being on DR and being in the mapchat and what not the people are nice, determined but overall there to have fun (and get XP/karma sometimes haha)

Hey I said no DR.. hehe anyhow I’m glad you are happy at DR. Everyone in the bottom needed transfers I just don’t like all the people jumping to the winning server on the bottom making it now a sea of red DR’s. I thought it was funny one of the newest guilds to you guys was like oh well we decided to transfer to the bottom and we didn’t check the servers we just picked a name… YEAAAA RIGHT LOL. anyhow don’t respond because this is NO DR

Also just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work man I know you have upgraded more than I ever had (you and your guild) just wanted to say thanks for your hard work. Even though you say you have given up on EB I know you still are in there trying as well with the upgrades and siege weapons

Also thanks to all Fergs that help run supplies and upgrade stuff I saw alot of teamwork today and we did great! Keep it up!

Ahhh, this thread is nice relief. If you look at the number of posts that have the word PRO in it in the other thread, you’ll find it’s probably greater than 66%. I don’t know why they like to spam, but they do it well.

As to that random DR dude who can’t read, I know that quite a few of us in Kaineng are tired of capping stuff when we are on and losing everything an hour after we get off. You’ll probably be seeing a lot more open field and supply camp fights because we are tired of getting night and day capped and then told that we are outplayed and it isn’t a numbers game.

I don’t know if you know this, but no one really cares about other servers giving themselves pats on the back. Don’t really care if you are communicating better or your commanders are awesome. I just wanna kill sheeit.

I’m one of those new transfers people keep going on about, and if it makes you feel any better I myself am leaving come Thursday (when my week’s up). I have no interest in playing a pitched match, and would never have transferred to DR had I known how lopsided the score had become. Won’t be headed home to Borlis, but I will be out of your hair.

By all means stay you guys will move up probably next week is my guess and it won’t be so one sided however if your guild really did just “pick” a server out of the bottom 3 without looking at scores my suggestion next time would be check the 3 servers you are going to choose from and see which server could use the most help and transfer there to try and help out (again just my opinion). Also, there were 2 new guilds that joined DR this week that I know of and I give them the same opinion as well on top of PRO moving there about 3 weeks ago. Having 3 guilds transfer to 1 server in 3 weeks will make a huge difference especially in the bottom 3.

I would say the problem with transfers is people dont know the exact numbers of which server they are going to.

Low-Medium-High are too vague for people to make an accurate decision on which server actually has more

And you are weakening the only other force who can actually help you fight your true threat, DR. you weaken yourselves thinning out to fight K allowing DR to fight you somewhere they choose.

Don’t think of how you can win, think of how to make DR fall. if DR falls, then the race for first is on. Before that you are only fighting over last place.

Ferg and K can put a hurting on DR even at 5 to one Odds. You just need to pick those fights in the right place. out in the open, zerg vs zerg isnt it. behind and over walls is where you take DR out. Invade one piece at a time. hold it, build it and use it to start weakening your next target. It’s only Monday there is no need to rush on caps you cant hold.

Also, if you feel that it’s all numbers and ego pummeling you all into the cold hard ground, use your superior mind set to divide DR any way you can.

Kaineng got one win a few weeks ago and it totally changed our mindset. All of a sudden, people forgot about the early days when all we had was Cliffside and we had to put all our time and siege into defending that one tower for as long as we could. Sure, its fun to win and put up big numbers on the scoreboard, but its more important to not let it take away from your fun when you can’t compete with the enemy numbers.

For a few hours an evening, there will be blood. Hard to care about a score that means nothing but how many people you have online.

We will continue to bring it at prime time for the limited time a lot of us can play. We found very early on that it’s best to ignore the scoreboard completely most of the time.

Think you all can stop the PRO hateraid? PRO has less than 370 members with bout half not even on DR. All 3 bottom tier servers have “High” population status during primetime. Does DR have higher population in Wv3, I’d agree, but mainly because more DR are in Wv3 than before, not “massive transfers in” as some like to state. Fair weather fighters? Probably true. Wv3 population dropping in the other 2 servers, looks like it. More fair weather warriors? Probably.

PRO is not the cause of every issue you all are having, I’ve read a lot of posts by members of your own servers telling you whats wrong. Suggest you read them too and stop point at one guild on one server as the cause of you “downfall.”

Ferg stepped it up after reset, no noticeable influx of players, just more teamwork and coordination. They passed Kain in points….we gonna hate on them too for working as a team and bringing the fight and never giving up? Chris took his NP guild to Ferg from DR. Is everything PRO getting now going to roll over to NP now if Kain cant stop Ferg’s momentum?

All 3 servers will move up, move down, get owned, and own others. It’s a game and it fluctuates like the tide. Right now DR’s tide is in and yours is out, will it change? Yes, and in your favor eventually.

Its not the end, never will be. All bottom tier servers will eventually move up to face new servers and new players. Heck, we’ve been at it so long we’re almost like family now and fighting each other over minor stuff. (lol)

But either way, how about we all get back in the fight, stop the hate and bring it on the battlefield the way all 3 servers did this past 2 weeks.

We can win the fights, what were saying is we can’t do a 24/7 coverage like DR, (not saying you have epic zerg fest during those offshifts, just saying ur offshift players are greater than ours by that much) Even if the infamous kaineg ferguson alliance that some people keep speaking of was to happen, i doubt we could man enough players to deny your win. We could maybe turn out to an even battle during primetime, but thats just a 6hour battle, what about the other 18hours? Don’t get me wrong, i’m personally one of those people who don’t look at scores tbh, because this is kaineg, we’re used to losing, due to a variety of reasons, but we come to wv3 for the battles not the win.

No offense but i’m sure the reason this thread was made, was to basically avoid the spam kitten talks from DR in the other OP. It’s quite tiring to look at the endless spam of “omg we just owned you guys at random offshift hours, but good job for the defense you guys put up.” The OP has more replies than the top tier servers, now doesn’t that just say something? but of course this was before the moderators deleted a lot of posts.

Just wanted to say great job Ferg on holding on to our map pretty much this whole week so far. Go Ferg! I also had a blast attacking DR’s map today we took over close to half of it before people logged and DR came and took it all back after most of us logged out.

Anyway, if you guys look at my post in wvw I told you this would happen. We had a huge influx of guilds in devonas and I am seeing new guild names with 20-30 members each day. It gets frustrating when you enter wvw (hiding your commander tag of course) and just see how sloppy it is on DR side… and no pro you aren’t any better. It’s just our zergs > yours and we slam into you and can put a full zerg and mini zergs on each map. For the record, I do agree with you… you’re outnumbered and outgunned. It has nothing to do with “skill” just a sea of red names… and yeah the cliffside days were fun and it looks like they’re going back… I just hope we move up a tier and people stop being so kitteny and having 0 class when we get stomped because our no numbers advantage.

Also sorry for SoS kaineng, they are legit useless in wvw (told you so).

Best of luck to you guys, hopefully we’ll be back from the higher tier sooner than later shaking off the bandwagon guilds that joined up.

Used to be like a chess match between us where we could only field one proper zerg and it had to be shifted to offense /defense so communication was key… :/

Just wanted to say great job Fergs in EB working as a team! I am getting tired of these resets though this is twice today I build a bunch of siege and poof gone build again and poof. One of the guys from ferg JUST made a golem I feel bad for him anyhow great job team! Also why do you give PvE players 3 minutes warning and you give us 10 seconds? Come on Anet please give us the same!

Either way, you are right. absolutely not reaching at all one bit.

So wait.. (to start off..this isn’t to start a fight) but..from what i’m reading is that a public forum, one that anyone has the free right to express feelings and talk to other people on is apparently “not allowed” by Devona’s rest, also that we cannot express our own feelings on what other people are expressing their feelings on? seems kind of childish in my opnion.. but hey, whatever.

Also, Not all of PRO’s members start stuff with other people (and no, many of our members defend ourselves and don’t actually start with other people)..so I honestly suggest keeping you’re own opinions to “yourselves” considering we have to do the same.. I’ve been with PRO for about 3-4 weeks after the release of the game, I came here when they transfered over to Devona’s rest, none of you have any proof of why we came here except for you’re once again “opinion” based on you’re unknown facts which are indeed wrong… we came to Devona’s rest because we wanted to have a challanging fight and work our way up, we seen the guilds and coordination that people have on this server and we wanted to work with it to make the server even better. not because we seen people transfering to this server, infact we thought people were actually leaving this server, and honestly its true they were losing people.

So once again..not to “fight” with you guys. but please, don’t dissrespect all of a guild because of some of the people..and especially an entire server.

oh one more thing..we came from Gates of Madness. we were 1 of the (maybe 2?) guilds left on that server that didn’t transfer from the month and a half since the release. yet the last 4 weeks we held our own in WvW on Gates of Madness, so we know how it feels to have people transfer off of a server to the server you are fighting..yes, those people should not be able to do so..and honestly I think its a flaw that should be fixed (but its people that are flawed that do it). if you really want to stop vsing us..then stop WvWing and let us get our score as high as possible so we’ll be out of here as quick as possible. but then again..we’ve had some good fights with both of you’re servers..so it keeps it interesting.

Sorry for the text wall..but figured maybe you all might reconsider you’re thoughts. and no, i’m not an officer of PRO nor am I even near that.

The server was growing. not shrinking. before your guild moved over we were at High population. we were at high population about a week or two before K won. There were transfers and lots of lowbies on the way up.

Pro’s transfer didnt screw the balance up. I actually recommended PRO go to DR because they were in last place.

It was the bunch of guilds that transfered after pro into DR instead of taking the balance of the servers into consideration. If those servers split between kaineng, ferg, and devona instead of all flooding devona we would still have an evenish matchup.

The reason I had started this thread was because of the BS that was going on in the thread from DR fighting over who should get the credit for your wins and I was tired of reading it so I made this thread and also make a joke of it at the same time.
