Finally Fixed the Keep Exploit
Not entirely fixed it seems. I don’t think too many of us are surprised either.
Don’t support the Gem Shop, it’s that easy.
Where is everyone getting this set of patch notes? I do not see it in the Anouncements forum or in this forum.

It happened to us again today on Dragonbrand borderlands.
A mesmer jumped up the cliff face on the southern end and made his way inside. Then ported his team in, while we were fighting them on the northern gate.

Yeah I think they fixed one of the two routes into that keep. Its a start at least. Should report anyone abusing it, its an obvious exploit.

still happening, Anet failed to fix anything, as usual. If it was an exploit to wintersday, we’d have had 15 patches by now to fix it, but WvW, screw it Anet doesn’t care.
If anet didnt care why did they try to fix it?

If anet didnt care, why does habib post the score results each week on the forum
If anet didnt care, why would they be planning a major content update for wvw in feburary.
Anet cares, they just dont seem to be moving as fast as you like.

I can confirm that wall-jumping over the outer and inner walls of that keep is still possible.
I assume the exploit that was fixed didn’t involve wall-jumping.

wall jumping is an entirely seperate issue.
They tried to fix that too, ended up having to revert it because they broke all the jumping puzzles in the game. I hope they get it figured out too.

The remedial fix they reverted seemed to put a limit on the number of times you could jump in a given amount of time. Hence why jumping seemed so screwy that night it was in. The actual solution, which I assume they’re working on, is likely going to require changes to the game’s collision detection. Which is going to be very unpleasant work methinks.
I’d love to give my explanation of temporary solutions, but that’d have to involve me explaining how to perform some of the jumps, so I will keep it off the forum…

I don’t know what they fixed but there’s definitely a serious bug with the east keep. About 30 minutes a group of 5 dragonbrand somehow got into the lord room of the east keep of Yak’s Bend Borderland without touching any walls/doors/guards and took the keep. This is extremely frustrating after you spend many hours and gold upgrading a keep. I hope ANet considers this a very high priority issue.
