Guild Wars 2

Any other wvw player who was a primarily FPS player who came to Gw2 cause they were intrigued by storming castles using catapults fighting 100v100v100? Then come to the realization that its more about zergs pvdoor etc. Wheres the strategic fighting? Kiting is not a strategy it’s common sense don’t stand in the line fire. The whole strategic fighting using siege etc was extremely appealing but hasn’t lived up to its potential.

I guess I’ve known this the whole time, but recent player comments have really made me think more about it:
WvW is what you make it (at least from the experience in my tier).

If you desire to run with a zerg, one can almost always be found. If you’d like a small party-sized group, grab some guildmates or friends, party up, and go and roam. If you like medium sized groups, grab a few more guildies or start using /m chat to see if anyone who isn’t with the zerg wants to join you.

Zergs are great for three things really (imho):
1. XP/Karma train
2. Taking very tough objectives (SM for example)
3. Distractions to take the heat off your smaller group and your activities (“stealth cap” camps, towers, etc.)

Go in a T1/T2 server, Get on their voice-chat, or do what mentioned above
