Instead, the full SOS zerg was seriously melee-ing down our garri door while the 10 of us tried to burn out the supply and run away. We had just finished a WP too.. first we’ve had all week.

Well…after a bitter fight with SBI friday (when we were trying to focus JQ) I guess most of us decided to just go ahead to fight you as if you were strong still. Still, I know everyone at SoS would rather go after JQ than SBI.

And that garrison was really weak, like really really weak. I was just there.

I remember SBI screaming Hackgate every time a shade of grey was involved in any activity whatsoever in wvw.

I also remember why we call SBI SBCry, and JQ JQQ.

I wonder how SBI members are feeling about entering a whole different Tier, they’ve been T1 since week 4.

I am actually kind of wanting to see how BG and SOS do against each other. They are completely different entities, and if BG has a few more numbers than they did before, I think BG might just pull the rug out from under SOS. SOS uses the big zerg, BG used some downright street fighting. Good luck to everyone.

I honestly do not know why Blackgate server want to ruin their reputation leave T2 with such a bad impression. It has been fun all along, fair play was there until Tarnish Coast joined T2. For some unknown reasons you are helping them out. I know this because I was there when IoJ was there and this never happened.
I do not know enough Tarnish Coast so maybe this is their tactics where ends justify the means but I do know that BG is better than this.
Hopefully you care enough to do the right thing, no more crowbars to the knee cap please.

I ran into covergirl all the time in rift but we were both pretty unkillable as priests. Didn’t stop me from trying to smash her though.

I don’t lead a large WvW guild so I cant comment on “helping” them, but if I saw a scrap between SoR and TC I would target SoR first! I think TC is a fantastic server… They have a great attitude regardless of what place they come in, and they don’t give up. Don’t get your feelings hurt, it has been a great match-up, give SBI hell.

I don’t get this whole “lets target them” mentality, its a three way game, and to win you need to defend your borderlands and push both of theirs.

I would like to add that I also remember Covergirl from Rift. I was very active in early Rift pvp. Who can forget? You emoted about applying lip gloss after killing me. Covergirl from Rift was on Molinar server. I found a screenshot of a Port Scion match with you in 2nd behind me. However, I did lose plenty of matches to your side. How are they going to steamroll the Testudo zerg? Big spread out zergs aren’t going to cut it. This will be interesting, good luck Blackgate!

Until WvW is fixed on so very many levels, the winners and losers mean absolutely nothing. While I look forward to moving back into T1 next week, I couldn’t give two kittens about who wins or loses.

I suspect it’s just because we’re respectful in game and on the forum. What we post here gets relayed back to the servers, and if the bulk of players posting from one server act the same way … Well it tends to leave an impression.

In all seriousness though, there’s no super secret deal. BG invaded TCBL this morning, right on schedule and SoR did its predictable lap in the afternoon. On EB, BG zerged us all day. (I tried to send them cookies in SM with my treb, but apparently they didn’t get them )

It’s something all servers should consider. How your players behave here often plays out in game. We all have our bad days, but if the overall voice of a server is uniform, well folks will pass judgment, it’s human nature. Not fun for those not their servers norm though. I feel for those people.

Something to think about anyhow.

Hmm wonder how tier 2 gonna go next week, with WM gone the big question in my mind is everyone else gonna stay on SBI, if so they should have no problem winning in tier 2. (they have 24/7 coverage like black gate and the other tier 1 servers). or on the other hand, the rest of their guilds could jump to kaenig with WM in which case they become the next HoD / ET

There is a lot of bad blood between SOR and BG. TC on the other hand are generally well received, its hard to have anything but respect for most of their playerbase (yes even the rpers =D).

Although we do smash red with high frequency, it is much more satisfying as a BG player when its Blue being smashed.

This post is pretty disgusting and I feel dirty participating in it but I have to speak my mind.

One of the reasons WM left SBI was because of “hurtful” remarks by members of the guild Aggression. I don’t know the whole story but it seems as if it was a pretty long winded campaign by the leadership of that guild to constantly /whisper Jang until he literally “cracked” and transferred over to Kaineng.

Aggression is a guild on SoS btw. You know, the server that had before hand won five weeks in a row with superior numbers at all hours, even full taking EB on T1, a monumental feat at this bracket.

You want SoS to destroy another server in JQ and have BG team up on us out of the bracket? So be it, we will rise to the challenge and try to hold our own in T1 as we have before.

You want NA to turn into EU? Where one server dominates so badly every week that T1 is seen as a joke and most people head to T2 and below for more balanced gameplay? Well JQ would like to have a word with you about that.

As huge and as strong as SoS is, JQ is the only server that has been standing up to them, even taking a victory one week (granted they had less numbers but still, a victory nonetheless). We are the only ones TRYING to keep them in check to prevent T1 from becoming a zerg fest, which it is UNFORTUNATELY slowly morphing into.

I’m sorry SoS but the most fun I’ve ever had on T1, and many others will probably say so, is when the matchup was SBI / JQ / BG. Whatever mission you are trying to accomplish you are succeeding at it 10 fold, I just hope you enjoy what you sow.; a mega server of bored pvper’s with nothing to do but roam the fields for gathering mats and killing skritt foragers.

We at JQ are going to try our friggin hardest to prevent that, and I hope BG comes into T1 with an open and fresh mind and ready to compete.

SoS in full zerg fashion and good commanders is a sight to behold.

SoS hitting Hills…no that was a distraction…20 seconds later hitting Bay…another 40 player zerg distraction…there are 5 golems at garrison water gate!!! Get there now!!!

While this is going on they farm our camps and yaks like it’s going out of style to choke supply…good times!

All I can say is BG you better have your game face on. With siege BPs in hand and when that WvW match resets come out guns drawn because T1 isn’t a walk in the park.

you really really need to get back in the game and pay attention if you didn’t notice WM and 3+ other bigger guilds left SBI. Do you think sbi just got bad overnight? after coming in 2nd almost every other week? to 20-40k behind regularly?

We were there for 3 weeks a couple of months ago, and even managed to take 2nd the first week, followed by getting hat handed the next two weeks. While the player make-up of the servers have most definitely changed, I’m sure the tactics, tenacity and level of participation required to compete has not. We know what it’s like, what’s required and how difficult it can be.

Thanks for the kind wishes though! I know a lot of us are looking forward to it, at least for the change of pace. After two full months I’m personally sick to death of fighting SoR, as I’m sure they are of us.

To be completely honest all I can say is that I can understand your pain. It’s terrible to lose something just because you don’t have enough manpower to do anything. SoS is king at the moment for its decent 24/7 coverage and JQ unshakable morale they have been in t1 for a long time. I hope the fact that SBI moving to t2 will organize things for you guys because i’ve had some memories(mostly bad) of SBI rolling over us when WM was still on SBI and Blackgate was in t1. T2 has organzied Blackgate on a new level and given some of us a profound hatred against SoR(lul). I respect the guilds that remain on SBI to fight it out and stick it through. I think Blackgate’s coverage can rival SoSs tbh
