So the WvW chest reward disappointment confirms that Anet has no intention of improving how a WvW player is rewarded. Not a single exotic in a 7 weeks content chest? not a single gold? who would have thought? this is worse than a punch in the face…

All we can do at this stage is move on and forget this will ever change. It is the sad truth…

If a 7 week reward is based on RNG of greens/blues then really not much we can do about it..

Predator, there are not that many active GW2 players as some of people here may think. I think it’s enough a stand for ANet to see, and they still don’t care about people. From a logical standpoint, how can a CoF p.1 be more rewarding that WvW Season 1 Chest, seriously? What is more, in between Gold, Silver, Bronze, how can a top3 chest in Gold be equal to top3 Bronze chest? I do not need answer to those questions since they are more than obvious: they can’t… But, de facto, they are ( good job on the rewards, ANet, good job ).

Sitting silent and doing nothing is probably worse than all the ANet applogists on this forum right now trying to pretend we should be greatful for what we got. If these rewards were known before the season started, do you think a single person would have even bothered with any of this short of getting the achievements done for achievements sake?

I am rewarded enough every day from stomping zergs and making nerds rage quit. If that is not reward enough for you then maybe wvw isn’t for you. We all saw what the rewards were from the wvw rank up chest did you really expect anything different. I truly hope the people complaining about the rewards are not real wvw players and are the achievement hunters that came to wvw to make sure they got the rewards.

for me the reward for WvW is every day, wrecking other servers/guilds and getting wrecked. any loot I get as a result whether in a bag off a player or in a rank or season chest is just icing and I really couldn’t care less what was in it, although that’s partly because i know it’s going to be junk.

In that case why didn’t they just give everyone the reward. They instead hyped up the season and said rewards at the end of the season and disrespected the players that play everyday. Even a person that cares about their playerbase would spend a little more time in considering the rewards of hard work pve or pvp

Considerin I have to pay for repairs, ascended gear, siege, upgrades, and consumables that are indexed to the incomes of PvE farmers I’d say ArenaNet is forcing this issue on us.

Nevermind trying to save up some gold to buy somethin nice.

Sure, it’s more than we ever got before for 7 weeks of WvW (that is we actually got some achievement points and a handful of chests) but I don’t think we’re gonna blow past any semblance of reason by askin “Maybe this could be better?”.

Though I would like to keep in mind that we got loot for doin WvW all this time as well. It’s not like this is the only thing we got.

Just to answer your question.. Its the same cuz of coverage and to prevent further migration from less populated servers, just cuz you are in gold league or w/e dosnt mean you are automaticly better than the guy in bronze.. The point is basicly to prevent the big kitten servers to zerg down the lower ones.

First of all I play wvw on Blackgate everyday
It applies for both pve and pvp and hell even for real life. I play much more wvw that pve and simply being ok with every piece of hapless crap they put out is disrespectful to yourself. If you’re a company that wants to be the best you have to put effort and quality in everything you do. I wasn’t expecting an ascended weapon, but at least like a skin for something. They spent hundreds of hours designing skins for their gem store and countless hours finding voice actors for the personal story, but decided to redistribute already created content for an aspect for their game .There are many games that reward pvp very well

There, now we’re all making weird assumptions about each other.

So if your looking to make gold in wvw or at least from the end reward your more looking at spending that gold on your self and not your wvw. The siege is more from JP or from guilds. If your putting down NQ siege at this point your waiting your time and your way better off using guild siege. This guild siege is from playing wvw as a guild it self so yes your getting your money to put down good siege from playing wvw and not just simply AP farming for some player over hyping rewards.

The mini is the skin you get. Any way if every one on your world got the same skin then every one would look the same.
