Fort Aspenwood is currently looking to expand our WvW guilds. We are always in need of off prime-time hour guilds. We would love to welcome you and your guild to our server. FA at a Glance:
Has a very strong core of guilds that are ready and willing to work with anyone who makes an effort to improve WvW on FA. Any new players should have no problem finding a home among these guilds.
FA experiences no que times (<5 minutes on reset prime time). Our lowest population times occur during west coast, oceanic, and euro timezones.
An active FA community website keeps people in contact with each other in all aspects of the game, especially WvW.
Guilds work independently and together informally through Teamspeak, the website, and in-game messages no matter how big or small the guilds.
At the end of the day, we all have a great time in WvW.

/agree with the above. FA is unique in how the guilds have developed our working relationship in WvW. As stated above our ability to work independently together in achieving our overall server goals is something our server is proud of and the proof of how well it works is our presence as a T3 server.
We’d love to see an increased population during the Oceanic & European time zones so if this is when you and your guild take to the field and have been considering finding a new home then make the jump as it is definitely worth your while. FA has been in T3 for 9 weeks! And next week looks like it could be our 10th.
What is great about FA is the dedication our WvW guilds have. They will come out to play despite the odds. Anybody looking for a serious WvW community should definitely consider FA. Our coverage is pretty decent. We are not asking guilds to come and take on the burden of carrying the server. We are asking them to come and help strengthen it. While we could use more numbers across all timezones, you won’t have to worry about being the only guild on at the time. There will definitely be enough people for you to play with.
Just wanted to add to this – Be sure to get here to FA before paid transfers set in!
Here’s a few reasons:
Many skilled players and guilds. FA seems to prove time and time again they can hold their own against more populated servers. We do more with less.
Friendly players and some great commanders – and we would LOVE to have more great commanders – does not seem to be any power struggle between commanders. In fact, I know our commanders have good communication.

How is the queue times for around 8 pm EST in your server? I have some friends and i interested in changing servers for a good community with WvW players with a brain, but of course we worry about queue times taking away our fun.
Most of the time there is no queue time. EB or our borderlands might have a queue on Friday reset, but I haven’t been queued more than 5 minutes. The regular EST prime time players here will have a better answer.

We’d love to have you guys. Queue times only typically happen on our BL and EB and then only right after reset and occasionally on Saturday night N/A primetime. Even then, we are talking 5 to 10 minutes when it does happen.

For the past few weeks only time you see a queue is Friday night, but by 11pm est EB becomes outmanned, even on reset and Saturday. So if going against impossible odds is your game, come join us in FA
It has been an amazing run so far with much more to come. FA is a great server that does huge things with less. I definitely recommend it as a destination for any WvW serious guild or players.
Bumping this. If you are interested in a rising, organized server with some great guilds. FA is the place. We have a lower population for our tier, so any additions are welcome. Minor queues on FABL and EB right after reset and maybe on Saturday’s N/A prime time. Queues are typically 5 to maybe 10 minutes and, again, literally only around that N/A prime time slot.

FA is not a bandwagon server trying to recruit even more people. This is our 9th week in T3 and we have not come in 1st place during any of those weeks. Our fairweathers have long gone and we have lost some guilds throughout our stay in this tier. We are still here fighting because we love this level of competition and it would be a shame if we dropped. T1/T2 isn’t even being discussed. We just want to become more competitive in this tier which won’t be possible if we don’t recruit to get our population back in line with our opponents.

No offence but I don’t see how this flys given this very recruitment thread.
As you can see, we have been ranked between #10 and #8 NA since Week 44 2012. Pretty much the definition of not being a bandwagon server. Perhaps it would help you to understand why we are recruiting if you understood the imbalance within T3 right now.
I enjoy fighting outnumbered, sure – however it’s common sense to recognise that any server who will be forced to sit in #2 – #3 position in their tier for months on end due to a clear population disadvantage will suffer in overall WvW participation, regardless of how hard the hardcore WvW guilds try and bring those more casual players back into WvW. Being on Yak’s Bend I’d be lead to assume you would know that fact very well and I believe that is perhaps what has lead you to lash out on this recruitment thread. That’s not what I want to see on my server.
Regarding FA’s current status and coverage, I would recommend anyone to check out our score evolution which is generally a clear representation of our coverage vs other tier 3 servers. Next week: Dragonbrand. Yay for fighting Oceanic beasts for countless weeks with a primarily NA east coast population. I hope FA has stocked up on RedBull again..

Well seems pretty much every single major guild on IoJ has ditched and is leaving. So my small group of guys will also likely be leaving to come join you guys on FA. IoJ will never recover from this now that transfers won’t be free anymore.

On topic: Fort Aspenwood will be blue for next week against Dragonbrand/Crystal Desert. Eyes on the prize. We are still lacking in all timezone departments however with recent transfers our Oceanic and East Coast presence should be substantial enough to hold a defensive and carry out offensive moves against these two very large Oceanic/Asian based servers. Our weakest timezone is likely to be Asia primetime (GMT+6 – GMT+9) Singapore, China, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Korean, Japan & more all the way through to EU primetime/NA early morning.

Haha, I was counting on you showing up actually. At least Tier 2 is far, far away. I couldn’t stand fighting the PiNK horde again and can’t imagine what it would be like now they have learnt off the scary beast guilds of pretty much my two fav servers (BG + SoR).. I’d rather stay third in T3 forever, lol. FA is disappointed you guys are letting SoR upstage you like that, though. Get it together!
Bump for the most consistent server in T3! 10 weeks straight of fighting against all odds and staying in T3.
With 10 guilds joining from IOJ, giving an oceanic presence to compliment our NA presence, I’d say Fort Aspenwood is a pretty good place to call home before you have to pay.
